Roto-Rooter

If I could give zero stars, I would. First, they failed to get a backup drain moving (Sunday emergency call = 2X the hourly rate), and said they'd come back Monday to jet it out. They didn't call us on Monday morning to say when they were coming, then five hours later they said they'd be right there, and after yet another hour later they admitted the jet truck was actually three hours away from us and would not be there that day. So, we spent two nights in a house where toilets couldn't be flushed, and no water could go down the drain. When we called them out on their lies and failure to show up, the receptionist told us we were banned for life, and could never call them again. :o Take my advice -> call ANYONE other than Roto Rooter!!!!!

I just had the absolute best experience with Roto-Rooter! My sump pump suddenly quite working after a lot of rain and storms. The service tech was kind, courteous and prompt. He was very patient with my endless questions. I was worried that this service would break the bank and was shocked at how reasonable it was. I can't recommend this company enough. Thanks for a great experience, James!

I had them at my home 9 times and they did not fix my backing up sewer. I finally had them put a camera down to see what the problem was. They said it was a belly in the pipe. Than they said they could get to me in 3 months. (really....no flushing, no shower, no dishwasher for 3 months?) so I hired another company. And when they dug up my yard where Roto rooter said the belly was....GUESS WHAT!!! NO BELLY. iT It was a blockage!!!!!!!! what the hell did they do the 9 times they were here before! I would not hire this company if my life depended on it. Also ... when I called them back to ask them to pay my 3k bill....they hung up on me!!!!!!!!!!

Despite the fact that the company title is "Roto-Rooter: PLUMBING and Drain Service", the person that was sent to my house for a plumbing emergency was NOT a plumber. The person that I had called to help me was unable to shut the water off to my trailer. I was not told until two days later that they do not work on trailers. Regardless, the worker that was helping me tracked mud into my house and all over my bathroom. This was even after the water was shut off to the house, and there was no urgency in the situation. He did not bother to clean it up or make any sort of attempt to lessen the spread of the mud. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service that I received, and I will NOT be using Roto-Rooter again for any of my plumbing or drain needs.
