We stopped at Rose Street Patisserie for a coffee and some treats and we’re not disappointed. You pay a premium here - our quick stop was about $40 for four pastries and two coffees, but was well worth it. Everything is delicious and superbly assembled. I am certain we will be back to try out some more of their seasonally rotating menu.
Place is a bit pricey for both the sandwiches and treats but it still a lovely location to stop by. Their chocolatey treats are creamy, fresh, and delicious without being overly sweet. Their baguettes for the sandwiches are fresh and the guacamole you can add is good quality.
Got this almond croissant; quite good. I lived in France for a few years and there baking seems legit. Nice clean vibe to the place as well.
I would have given this place five stars a couple of years ago, but it seems to have slipped in quality. The pastries aren’t as good as they used to be and the candy is really over-priced for what you get. Still a good place to buy a loaf of bread and maybe something sweet.
The hazelnut pastry was light, almost like a cream puff. There were nuts and a hazelnut filling. Not overly sweet, but also not very flavourful. The attendant took our order, but wasn't helpful or engaging. She wasn't unkind, just no welcoming feeling. I'd try this place again for the croissants.
Excellent pastries and cappuccino. A bit pricey, but it's a nice and friendly spot, and great quality.
Staff is amazing and the coffee and pastries are delicious. I will be back
While many people are baking less often at home, no worries, the art of baking sweets is in full swing at the St. Paul MN Rose Street Patisserie. Some folks were enjoying ice cream, others a salad, and then of course, a sweet to go. We are super happy to see them take up tenancy here. I recommend the ham and gruyere cheese baguette at Rose Street Patisserie in St. Paul. They also have vegetarian sandwich and quiche options. It like another great find for my peers on the hunt for freshly baked Danish scones. Nothing tasted a few hours old. I ordered the Classic Rose Petit to go, as it represents their logo. It cost $7, with tax coming to $7.55 - and worth it, though on the pricey side. It certainly says “special”, whether a treat for someone or yourself. It was neatly packaged to go in a box with their logo on top. It has a soft filling that seems to be made with cream cheese. It didn’t stay firm long, so this item may be best eaten immediately or placed in refrigeration to keep firm and cool till later. They offer 6 Jams and Tartiner to choose from. The bread case has several specialty items. It was hard to choose between he Challah and the Walnut Currant Sourdough. Parking is a bit tight during construction time. I was able to park just across the street while picking up groceries.
I'm glad to see another Rose Street opened up in the Twin Cities. Every location still has that high level of quality despite the expansions. I always recommend the multi grain loaf or a rose from the pastry showcase. I doubt you could go wrong with anything you choose though.
OMG. Churro éclair: best dessert EVER! Thank you for bringing happiness through food. This is by far the best bakery in the Twin Cities. PERIOD! If u like true French baked goods, then this is the place for u. Also, awesome coffee and amazing home made gelato. I eat here every weekend and I ALWAYS feel very fortunate to live in a city that has this level of patisserie. Il faut pas aller à Paris pour goûter un croissant si délectable.
