The Buttered Tin

Nice breakfast spot in lowertown. Usually pretty busy on the weekends. Some patio seating and some inside too. We had a delicious and filling! breakfast when life threw a plot twist this week. I had the Huevos Rancheros Benedict and the cornbread is a benedict game changer! If you like breakfast, you'll love this place!

My wife and her friends visited here for brunch on a Saturday late morning. It is a little small and very busy. There was a huge line at 11am, and they waited about 20 minutes around 9:30ish. They loved their coffees and entres, the avocado toast and the bananas foster French toast.

So yummy! I had the biscuts and gravy and it was delicious. I also had a Carmel roll that was so good I went back in and bought another! Sat on the patio to eat. It's a small restaurant so either arrive early or get your meal to go... There is a lovely park 1 block south with plenty of space.

The best cinnamon/caramel rolls anywhere in the Cities! Only downside is they charge a 20% fee on top of their prices for employee benefits, which seems like it should be the business's responsibility rather than the customers'...but we'll still pay it because it's delicious just maybe not quite as often :
