Story

We are a boutique style ice cream bar based in East Vancouver, BC. Our love of ice cream inspired us to open Rooster's and share our delicious creations with people like you.
At Rooster's we are dedicated to bringing the public artisan ice cream using high-quality natural ingredients without added chemicals or artificial colouring. We are always coming up with new ideas and inspiration to create more wonderful flavours.

Best ice cream in Vancouver by a million miles, can’t recommend enough. Passion fruit 11/10, Salted caramel 11/10, Cookies and cream 10/10. Lovely costumer see use too. Will be back!
A nondescript place in the neighbourhood that doesn't look like an ice cream shop from the outside, a hidden gem! Came by to buy some pints to try because we were too full from dinner. We got the cookies and cream and banana fudge, both were excellent! I love it when the cookies and cream isn't just plain vanilla mixed with cookie bits, and this delivered. This place is now in my top 3 ice cream places in the city.
Excellent ice cream. Mango raspberry is superb. Lemon poppyseed smooth, refined, sophisticated. Highly recommended. Small shop on Broadway between Commercial snd Clark.
Very delicious ice cream and a huge portion for only $5! We had the lemon poppyseed and passionfruit. Passionfruit was amazing!! We'll be back again and again.
You can taste the love and care in this family-made ice cream. All year round, this is the neighbourhood spot I’ll want to be My first try was the cookies and cream and I’ll be dreaming about it till next time.
My partner and I stopped in the other night after receiving a glowing recommendation from a friend about where to find the secret best ice cream in town. A lovely pink-haired employee took such good care of us, and made us feel so welcome. And the ice cream itself was next level good- we got the cafe con leche and the passion fruit. Thoroughly impressed, and we’ll be back soon with friends
I went for double scoop because I got so excited looking at their place. I love the rich flavor and it was so creamy and delicious. I don't have enough words to describe how happy I was with my visit at this place. I got the raspberry ice cream, and I wanted to try the mint ice cream next time.
This is THE place for MIND BLOWING ice cream!!! Every single one is made from scratch with real deal ingredients. Try their London Fog. Absolute fave!!! The people who own and run it are just wonderful too!! : 11 out of 10.
They have by far the BEST ice cream. The Mango Raspberry is by far my favorite and not a common flavor. They also have passion fruit, Mexican vanillaso good, cookies and cream, lemon poppyseed, banana fudge!!, and flavors of the month, like raspberry cheesecake and london fog, which both imo should be on the regular menu. You can get ice cream sandwiches, waffle cone or cup, kids cup & single or double scoop. Not bad prices either. I think possibly even a float though I'm not sure on that. Double cone comes to just under $9 with taxes. Ill add a pic next time I go, which I'm sure will be soon!
"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" - Excellent new management and the beloved Rooster's Ice Cream recipe lives on! For my money, their Cookies and Cream flavor is the best in Vancouver.
