Purchased 10 pavers from here, got home and realized carleton place rona had them a dollar cheaper. Poped back into the store to discuss as i needed 4 more. Was told that they could match the price on the additional 4 pavers but the ten i bought would not be price matched. Had to return the ten and headed over to Rideau Home Hardware where i paid 2 dollars less a stone. Rona Smiths Falls has a couple of entitled craby old men for managers. I will be avoiding supporting this site. You could have done alot better Rona.
I like this Rona. It's not the largest around but they always have good stock levels and the staff are super helpful and friendly.
I am truly disgusted with the customer service in this store. Every employee has a different answer about the products. Ordered specialty items which one person told would be at store in 2 weeks, a second person told me 4 weeks when I went back after the 2 weeks I ended up waiting 5 weeks. When calling the store to ask about products and my order I was told they would call me right back. I would then have to call them back a few days later because I wouldn't hear back from them. This happened numerous times. I have spent thousands in this store in the last 2 to 3 months and when I went to return a few items I was told I had to come back later in the day because they couldn't refund me $70 they didn't have enough that early in the morning. Instead of being met with understanding of my frustrations when I voiced them and trying to figure out a solution I was met with hostility and yelling. I believe this store needs a revamp and serious customer service training. Dont waste your time! I will no longer be shopping here or recommending it. They would have gotten zero stars if Google would have allowed it
We have recently moved to Smiths Falls and have found the staff at Rona always accommodating from customer service to the delivery of our products. We give a high five to Victor and Jake who did an excellent job with our delivery, very professional and very friendly. Thank you!
This morning at 07:12 am I ordered a nail gun, although the web site indicated that they had 2 in stock, due to COVID-19 I expected it could take a couple of days to fill the order but I was surprised to get an email at 08:26 the same day to say that the order was ready for pickup. Thanks that’s was fantastic service!
Super fast at preparing online orders during covid. Even large yard orders are put together very quickly. Alot better organized than that other red store in town.
Asst. Manager should be demoted. Told us the 20% off promo was not valid for. We came back and another employee printed the promo out and we got discount. Forklift driver in yard told us to go back in store instead of givng us the product we were told to pickup outside. He then almost ran us over with forklift and when confronted said " ya, I know". No apology. He then rapped on vehicle window and said " move your car". No manners, poor attitude. I work in retail and have reasonable expectations. This store is poorly run.
Always great service. Got some flooring recently and they loaded it up right into my car etc which I really appreciated.
The staff are really nice. However, whenever I ordered something on sale on line, the orders were cancelled....so for this store, maybe no on line order...wired
My first order with Rona online and we had great service at the Smiths Falls location. The store items were pulled and ready for pick up. We will certainly shop there again.
