Best auto service appointment I've ever had at a Canadian Tire. The bar wasn't high, but this stop was really good. Service manager I spoke with was great.nnAlso, while waiting for tires to be installed on my Jeep, I shopped around the store for batteries. The floor manager asked if I needed assistance. In fact I did as there were no small key fob batteries where I was looking. He brought me to the service counter and retrieved some. Then, he gave me a recent sale price for the batteries.nIt was my first visit to the Smiths falls location.nSmall town service -nGreat service!

Husband always goes here for tires, but some reason they don't tell you when they know your tires aren't any good for another season, until conveniently it's time for them to be change, and then they want to sell you the most expensive! Absolute bullshit business practices. Don't go here for anything.
Had an appointment @ 3pm to get a wheel bearing and wheel rod replaced. They called around noon asking if it could come in around 2. I said no problem but ended up dropping it off around 1:15. When we booked the appointment we told them which wheel that had the issue. When I dropped it off I reiterated the same details. Then I get a call at 1:50 asking which wheel had the issue. It was 4:15 and we still hadn’t heard back. We decided to go to the store to see if our car was in the parking lot - it was called 3-4 times on our way there - no answer. The employee was serving someone else. He told her he was done his shift almost 5 and was visibly annoyed. He tried to walk away but my boyfriend informed him we dropped off our car and never got a call that it was ready and we tried calling and there was no answer. He hesitated but then went on to serve us even more annoyed now he did apologize no one called. We were minutes away from not being able to get my car back for the night.nThey fixed the problem and my car is great now but I was not pleased with them forgetting and not writing down the issues with the vehicle, not calling me to confirm the issue and then not calling to notify me it was finished.
Found what I needed quickly but this was the last 'fast' thing I did at Canadian Tire. Not a single cash was open despite multiple people in line, everyone had to wait for the person working the customer service desk to finish what they were doing before calling up the next person.
