RONA

We had a great experience at this store on multiple occasions and we always go here versus home depot even though it is a bit further away. Had very engaged staff that made all the difference. With that being said, it has one of the worst laid out parking lots I have ever seen. I don't know what the designers were thinking.

I go here for contractor services for work. Sometimes daily. Best staff I've dealt with at any Rona or home Depot for that matter. All around great location.

EVERY experience at this particular location was a nightmare. Renovating a townhouse nearby, we shopped here for convenience until one day I waited a total of 48 minutes while someone in "paint " tried to match a sample I brought in. He couldn't get the software to work and the manager refused to help him. She'd disappear, then he'd disappear to find her then I'd ask other staff to assist me (a total of 4 employees in the entire store) but they said it wasn't their department. I finally lost my patience and hunted the manager down myself and asked her to please show her staff how to operate things so I could be on my way. I expressed my frustration over lack of employees, lack of knowledge, lack of training and she smiled at me and said "yep! I'm a little underpaid for what I have to put up with don't you think?" I couldn't believe my ears. No apology. No accountability. Then after the paint guy mismatched my paint, he told me to shop at the other location if I wasn't happy. This was my last visit, but every experience was hellish for both my husband and I. Prior, I was trying to purchase 53 marble tiles for kitchen backsplash and when I asked for assistance I was told they're too busy! I should have contacted the owner about how horrible his 2 female managers were but I thought the only way they could possibly treat customers the way they do and still be employed is if they're related?! I asked for owner info and Manager said that was confidential. I asked the name of employee who told me to shop at other location but he covered his name up, said no and walked off to a loading bay. Stay away from this store. It's a JOKE!! They refused to honour the Scanning Code of Practice when the clearance flower pots outside were advertised cheaper on the sign. They said the sign was wrong. They refused to honour the 15% off our flooring purchase because the laminate we were buying was already on sale even though the flyer said otherwise. So we had to drive to a location in Edmonton to have it honoured no problem! Staff will argue with you until you into submission. Ridiculous that this place is still open for business!!

I like all hardware and construction businesses. you have to be willing to shop for price savings.

Nothing but Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE experiences (Yes, that's plural) at this location. If I could review "0 stars" I would. COMPLETE lack of... in fact, the exact OPPOSITE of customer service. First, I called ahead and spoke to Christine in "custmer service" when i asked her to bear with me for a second while I found what I was looking for, I was told in a nasty 'quit wasting my time' tone, that she had customers waiting. Am I not a customer? Second experience, ended up buying $2500 worth of flooring from a different Rona and weren't happy with it. We brought it to this Rona to return as we were told we could return it to any Rona. Guess who was working? Yup, you guessed it CHRISTINE. I thought she was brazenly rude and disrespectful on the phone... but WAY worse in person. Same nasty tone, same crappy attitude like it was a royal pain in the a$$ to help me AND Lazy!! Went through every excuse to not take back the flooring. FORGET IT!! NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION. Drove across town to the other Rona and was on my way home with my refund in less than 10 minutes, fully unloaded AND they were nice AND helpful. Moral of the story, don't waste your time with these goofs, if you MUST go to Rona, go to any location but this one.
