The owners should be ashamed of themselves for locking a senior citizen out of the park when she was staying with a friend. It's December and you put someone in a position where they had to sleep in their car.
My wife and I have been at Rolling Acres Campground for 13 years. 7 years seasonally and 6 years retired. We love it here. I get a kick out of some of the negative reviews by campers and their visiting relatives in the park, the majority of which do not abide by the park rules. They either don't obey the speed limits and stop signs, don't maintain the cleanliness of their lots, sneak visitors in avoiding paying visitor fees, build sheds, decks, etc., without park approval. Of course in the early spring due to rain and ground frost melting the roads are wet and muddy, a yearly occurrence and are repaired as soon as can be done. Roads are plowed and sand/salted, if you can't drive up the hill in the winter, how about buying snow tires. Would not give up living here.
Worst place ever my parents stay up there in the summer rude management. They lie on there residents. Over charge there is nothing fun for the kids to do. Guy that owns the place is rude and his girlfriend even Worst. If it was not for my parents staying up there. I would never set foot up there. The management do not take care of anything trees following on people's trailers and cars. Worst place even if I could give it a 0 I would.
Poor road conditions without proper snow clearing or salt. Aside from that, I've never met such a RUDE and INSENSITIVE Person like BRENDA - Park Administrator. She's in the WRONG job & should be FIRED.
Roads are never maintained especially in the winter, staff is rude and unwelcoming, pipes freeze over and nothing gets done about it. Over charging for lot fees and Hydro; very clear owners intentions are ripping people off for money and they never make improvements. So much potential yet everyone seems so lazy and puts in no effort. Such a shame because the views and scenery are so beautiful. Not to mention they tell tenants living on the bottom of the hill to walk down to their homes and park their vehicles at the top in the winter when its too icy to get up, but don't they realize the hazards in doing that how hard is it to plow and then put down salt. If someone falls down the hill they have a serious legal case. Hope this place improves.
Decent place, decent pool. Staff can be friendly. Driveway needs to be redone badly as the potholes are the size of small vehicle
Nice looking park, however I noticed a lot of tall dead trees that should be brought down before there's an accident!
Beautiful campground living on the river also has an indoor pool within Alliston right next to Walmart and only minutes from the 400. Great location.
The locals are friendly and inviting. The roads and infrastructure look like work is needed some pretty run down lots.
Clean facilities and friendly staff would definitely recommend !
