I love this campground. Used to camp there as a kid when it was Rose's Campground and glad to see not much has changed.
This place is a joke. A bunch of Karen’s . What a joke . Teacher teacher there’s kids in the pool during adult time. Like give it a rest and change your jeans . They tell you can’t drink at the pool yet the rule board says nothing of it . Never again!
Been seasonal here for two years now, great park with lots of activities.
I came here to visit a friend 10 years ago bought a trailer the following week and never left! I have made special friends in the past years including the owners. Then my brother came to visit me and he bought a trailer and never left! The main goal here is to have fun, to make it fun it needs to be safe with rules. There are no unfair rules here! Wear a helmet when you ride bikes. Have kids safe on lot by 10. The planning and care that goes into activities for young and older is heartfelt and amazing. Campers are encouraged to plan things and make this a second home! If a camper wants to plan an activity they are encouraged and assistance is givin with the needs. I could go on and rave about all that goes on here but I encourage you to come for a weekend and see for yourself! Personally I would like to thank the owners for seeing me as a person and not just a camper. For becoming my friends.
Went here a couple yrs back was interested in getting a trailer there but we got told NO by owner because she didn't want to let us buy trailer that was already there from a different owner felt it was a great place for my family and a great place for my kids for summer but because it was an older trailer we were told no u can't buy it and if u do u have to move the trailer because we don't want it here by the owner in conclusion my family won't be going back and I'm gonna be letting my friends and family know not to go here. I actually think it was a discrimination thing due to the fact I have children with autism I personally hope this makes people think about going here and I also hope that the people that are there find a different place to camp
We had a wonderful experience camping there with our trailer last weekend. The host and hostess's were just awesome people. The duck race, which was my first, was so cute and so much fun!! Everything is nice and clean, campground, washrooms, pool. Can't say enough about the owners!! I would recommend this campground to anyone!!
No fun... Don't go. Owners are very rude. Plus they came and took the basket balls away from the kids. At 10.30pm who cares! They do. They came and took the balls away threaten kids and we didn't see the basketball the next day! There where other kids there too. It's very expensive! Not worth the trip.
Had a great July long weekend. Lots of activities all weekend long. Campground has lots of property with a pool, playground and baseball diamond for the kids. Transient sites are a good size but lacking the tie in to the septic
I would like to clear a few things up about how most campgrounds are run. This is regarding a post that was put up on Sunday evening. Parks have rules that goes for seasonal or overnighters. Children have to be on there lots by 10p.m. . If you are riding a bike you must wear a helmet. In your case you found that it was above you to obey these rules. Golf carts are used to make sure everyone in the camp are safe and obeying rules. Your children were asked to return to there site, which they did not, that was after 10 p.m.. After speaking with your children a couple of times, the owner then approached the parents. The Sunday evening the same thing happened. When parents were approached again , the father was rude. And very belligerent. In case you are not aware headlights on a vehicle will go out automatically after a vehicle shuts down after a couple of seconds you just have to be patient but instead you chose the route of being belligerent and started cursing and swearing at another camper, threatening them etc. You forgot to mention when you where asked to leave ,the campground paid for your taxi also refunded you money so there would be no more problems. All and all I myself enjoy camping here there is lots of activities for the children and the adults. The owners have done a amazing job in cleaning this park up and they are very stricked with the rules. So with the games you wanted to play they got rid of the problem link. The park was safe for the rest of us and we did not expect them to babysit us.
I want to apologize for the review that I put up Sunday night. I still feel the owners were hard on my kids but I read the latest review and I absolutely agree with her. My son's dad does have a temper. We are not together and haven't been for a long time. Unfortunately he isnt the kind of dad that takes his kid every other weekend because of his temper. I try so hard to make things normal for my son that i sacrifice my life to spend time with his dad so that he can have a relationship with his son. He promised his son that he would not yell this weekend and he failed him again. To the guy that shined his lights at us, I did think it was rude as you could have angled your truck as you parked in a big wide open field. I felt that my son's dad was very rude and your right beligerent which only made things worse. I shouldn't have trusted him when he is drinking as I totally let my son down and his friend. My son has been embarrassed so many times and it's not fair. I apologize publically for a bad review. If the incident didn't happen I would have given it 3 stars which I am changing to reflect that. Maybe the owners could have extra helmets on hand in case a child forgets one to either rent or use with deposit. Also I believe in rules they are important. Maybe 11 pm is more reasonable for teens as they usually burn out around that time. Owners could help more to diffuse situations instead of making them complicated but with that being said i do brlieve this would not have happened if my sons dad wasnt so rude about it. I am not like that . I care about people and I don't believe in yelling ...Everything just seemed to snowball when my son's dad is around.
