Pridhams Park has been gone for 5 years now my review would be very different for the old park but reviews should reflect the new owners Villages Adjala In 5 years they have raised our rates every single year to the tune of paying more than triple with absolutely nothing added to this park to make it better. They replaced the gravel roads with sand because it was cheaper for them it's a complete disaster for all of us. They decided to make money off the gravel instead of putting it on the roads by charging the campers over 600.00 to put it under our trailers. Funny not mentioned in their rates or anywhere that I could find. We found our lots all torn up this year with giant trenches filled with sand and tree roots all over the place things removed from my lot with absolutely no communication and not replaced or fixed. There are no toilets or showers no water or sewage not even a playground added with all of these increases. They added hydro to increase the costs by more than a thousand dollars per lot. Not metered. They have run out most of the families in the past couple years we literally lost ALL of our neighbors. There is no rec centre nothing here for kids at all. My kids all refused to come to the park. The greenspace where kids used to play have become dumpsites. Pic of the nasty outhouse and junk they dropped infront of our lots for the whole season attached The river where kids used to play now a hangout for adults to drink. It's an absolute shame that this greedy corporation bought our park. Do not book unseen they advertise as if it's some posh park in a farmer's field its empty for a reason Go to Campon app there are over 400 better parks with actual amenities and activities to choose from. Dont let reviews from their friends and themselves fool you
Wonderful memories as a child but it's all gone. Was here late '70s and early '80s They would do alot of events for kids. I've heard it's a retirement park and packed full of trailer homes.
While the park was owned and operated by the Pridham family it was a wonderful family experience. Since the park has been sold to a corporation the family experience no longer exist. Rude, not caring, disrespectful, and not a family oriented company. The managers do not care about what goes into the river, they seem to not care about the environment or people. Flooding happens very frequently because of the river that put trailers at jeopardy. My family camped there from 2009 until 2017. This corporation and the people they have managing it only cares about your money.
The park is absolutely lovely, clean, excellent facilities, and super friendly owners and staff. We've only been fortunate to visit haunt friends who own a trailer there, but every time we've been made to feel very welcome. The onsite store, bar, laundry facilities are all a wonderful surprise--no having to travel all the way into town for last minute items. Sites are large and roomy and the Nottawassauga sic running through is a pretty bonus. We are so impressed we are shopping for a trailer to become residents.
Excellent Family Park, located only 50 mins from Toronto. As mentioned in previous reviews, park was sold to a new group last year. They have made a number of positive changes and have numerous upgrades planned. We are looking forward to the continued improvements that are being made.
They do not know how to run a mobil home park. All they want is money and try to double charge you for what you've already paid. They do nothing and charge for everyone eveything.
Adjala Village previously Pridhams Park is my families home away from home. The owners are very down to earth, and the other campers are very welcoming. In the last couple of years we have made lifetime friends. I have learned how to play horseshoes and always look forward to playing on saturdays with a large group from the park.
Very horrible experience here . Me and my boyfriend had a trailer here for about 3 years Hate to say it but this park is not worth it at all we waisted alot of money here and got sold an unfit trailer by the park owners for 1000 dollars leaking ,moldy , was told appliance work but appliances were not working and were unable to be fixed, no bathroom. There's a little creek to stick your feet in but not deep enough to swim or fish . Dirty trailers and dirty outhouses . Rude park owners who barley even say hello to the people who pay out there ass' to stay the summer in there park and if you bring one guest with you to your trailer they have to pay the front gate 8 bucks and if they are staying the night it's 16 bucks ,my boyfriend and i usually would ended up paying for our guests ourselves because who wants to invite people over to there trailer and charge them money, I once got charged 8 dollars just for my little sister to come help me clean up the yard and trailer we were there for a few hours .. , I would honestly suggest any other park than this one
Park staff beyond RACIST. Horrible experience. Felt targeted and disrespected. My vehicle didn't move and woman "employee" claiming to own the park yelled at us saying to slow down. Yet, golf carts at going faster than their regulated 5kmh and kids are unsupervised driving small motorized cars throughout the trails. We have visited the park previously this season and still nothing changes. Its difficult to spend time with our family in a family park while being harassed because of the colour of our skin.
Fun place with a ton of good people! The parties do run all night long on weekends so not for people looking for a quiet place to stay. It has trails and a river runs through it, everyone says hello as they pass by, super chill place.
