Motel West

A simple, unassuming, older motel with modest, and dated furnishings and decor, all maintained with evident care, and attention toward cleanliness. . Comfortable bed, fluffy pillows piled upon generously, neatly covered by clean linens in impeccable condition, free of stains, &signs of wear. A simple continental breakfast is hosted in a dedicated sit-down style dining area on the main floor. We observed all items on offer remained available for the full 4 hour window between 6am, and 10am, more popular choices being efficiently restocked and refreshed as needed. The pool and jetted hot-tub were well-maintained, the water clear, and pH levels continually monitored by hotel staff. Staff were welcoming, personable, and professional. Questions were quite agreeably engaged on topics of current local events, and regional happenings. The Idaho Falls Motel West met or exceeded expectations in all areas without fail, and we can recommend Motel West with complete confidence. Hope this helps!

I stayed here October 2017! This motel DESERVES 5 stars ALL around!! Every aspect of it from it's cleanliness, comfort, amenities, customer service, & price out beats every other cheaper motel I've stayed in(Which is very often & ALL over the West Coast)! I can't think of ANYTHING that it needs to improve!! Its got EVERYTHING that matters when you're traveling including price & I SURE hope NOTHING EVER changes!! Even their continental Breakfast has cooked food like sausage & biscuits etc..I have to come to Idaho Falls every month for the next 12 months & I will definitely be staying here EVERY Time!! I'd definitely recommend it to EVERY ONE traveling through!!

This was a clean, affordable and quiet place to stay. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good, and they have additional seating should it get busy (which it did while we were there.) Its close to both local and fast food chain food, Wal-Mart and grocery stores. Would definitely stat again, without a doubt.

They were very accommodating of my special requests. The rooms are large, beds are very comfortable, if a bit tall... People with mobility issues may need to request a step stool to get in the bed! I don't know if they are all like that, or just the one in my room. Nice flat screen tv with cable, free WiFi , fridge, microwave, large dressing area, ironing board and iron, coffee maker, hair dryer, tub with shower, nice reclining chair, table with chair... all in all, feels like home! Breakfast is only served until 9:30. But, they have a nice indoor pool and hot tub that is open until 11pm. They also provide day passes for a nearby gym. With all the amenities included here, the dollar value is excellent.

I gave it 3 stars because the staff was a great and the room was clean. It is standard cinder block construction but has been renovated. I can't speak for the other rooms but the years of nicotine smell from when they allowed smoking was strong. 3 days later I still have signs of a bloody nose. The staff would have moved me but they were completely booked.
