Amazing place to explore and discover the beauty of nature. The hike is safe and fun but it can be a challenge if you don't have the right shoes and if you are not adjusted to walking long distance in uneven terrain. The views are breath taking just like the steps along the trail. It looks like is really well maintained, very clean with maps available at park office near the parking lot.

This is my favorite New York state park, possibly my favorite park anywhere. My wife & I got married here; we camp & hike here every summer. The trails are well kept and naturally beautiful. The campsites are also well kept, typically well spaced, the shower house is always in good order. The lower north shelter is gorgeous. The park staff are friendly and helpful. The park is right outside Ithaca so you can run out to the store or for dinner if you're camping, or you can stay in a hotel and hike for the day. It's nearby to other state parks as well. I've never been disappointed by a trip here.

We loved this park. The campsite for our popup was large, level, shaded, and had electric, but no water. The bathroom and showers were fine; not 5 star, but clean and well maintained. The gorge hike was awesome and we walked past several waterfalls. We came after Labor Day so swimming at the Lower Falls had ended for the season, but looked like fun. We could have spent more time here exploring, and we hope to come back.

Great place to go hiking. Swim first before going hiking. Me and my friend went for a hike in 100F weather. And when we fished, we're couldn't go swimming because it was thundering out. Beautiful beautiful beautiful place to visit. Not sure if you can go swimming at the waterfall.

I went to the upper part where Lucifer Falls is and found the water flow on the low side but enough to get some nice shots. The park was quiet even though the parking lot was half full. There's lots of room for folks to spread out and enjoy nature.
