Cass Park is a regional park used heavily by residents from all parts of Tompkins County. Along with the ice rink and swimming pool, there are 4 tennis courts, 20 athletic fields (4 of them lighted), playground equipment, exercise trail, & large pavilion.
Cass Park is a City owned & run park located on the waterfront in Ithaca, New York. The park features a covered, open air ice rink that is open from late October to mid March, an Olympic sized pool and wading pool open from mid June to mid August. We offer group ice skating and swimming sessions, skating and swimming lessons for all ages, birthday party packages in addition to public ice skating and swimming. We also offer same or next day ice skate sharpening, limited hockey and swimming accessories and a concession stand. In addition to public ice skating, the rink is used by several local youth and adult hockey leagues and is available for private group rentals for ice skating, broomball, and ice hockey during the Winter season, then floor hockey and other events during the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
