Rob’s No Frills

I wrote my first review a few days ago regarding a horrible experience I had at this location involving the under cover security officer. A great turn around to this ordeal is the way Jeff Owner and the security company managed the issue. Jeff did follow through with what he said he would do, including being kept informed regarding corrective action taken to ensure that my experience is not repeated.nnThis has been my local grocery store for the past four years and will continue to be due to the diligence and care taken by Jeff and the security company.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the store was clean and well lit. They were out of some items that we wanted to buy. Many of the prices went up higher than at our other supermarket we go to. I will not be returning anytime soon.

I usually shop at Royal york no frills but decided to go to this Queensway location today. Entrance to the store was fairly decent and sanitisation of the carts were upto mark. I came in for some Essentials and some vegetables and fruits. The produce department was super clean and organized and the staff was really helpful in helping finding things. The floor was pretty clean which is not usual in most no frills. The produce section was pretty full with stuff on the shelves which could be a disappoinment in some stores as it looks dirty, however it was the complete opposite in this case. The store was itself pretty clean but just wanted to mention the produce section because this would be my go to store to shop for essentials now.nKeep up the good work guys

Good deals, I like this store although it's smaller than some others. Produce may not be top notch however it regularly has good variety. Definitely a must go if you want to keep your budget.

What's not to love. My new favorite place to walk and shop. Great selection of fresh vegetables and baked goods.
