The patio is packed so we went inside, the restaurant is cozy. The food is good. I like my hamburger or they called it sandwiches with mango chutney. The special-of-the-day pasta is also great. We’re halfway through dish so I can only take what was left onto another small dish to make it look presentable The staff is friendly and nice. They also offered my baby some crayons to keep him attended while we ate, so it’s a place suitable for family and children.
Oh I love this place! I’m literally bringing all my friends from other parts of the town to try Queen Pasta Cafe! What I like about it is not only food, but the full experience of being at a friendly and cozy local place! Their staff are so nice! The food is always amazing! I had veal cutlet with mushrooms and my friend ordered Rigatoni with spicy sausages!
I wanted to go to this restaurant for quite a bit and now i cant wait to go back. Queen’s Pasta Cafe is amazing! Staff, ambiance, and the food were excellent. This place can get very busy so you have to planned ahead. Do yourself a favor and order the Calamari & Tiger Shrimp.
Nice diner in the area. Menu selection was wide and servers were nice. I very much enjoyed my veal piccata, and the antipasto pasta was generous and delicious. The only inconvenience is that the restrooms are up a flight of steep stairs, making it not very accessible
Absolutely loved the pasta here! The quality of the ingredients and the taste were phenomenal. We got the baked rigatoni and the black and white fettuccine! The fettuccine itself was black and white which we weren’t expecting. Their house made tiramisu is a must! We also had their burrata to start - the olive paste and chillies went perfectly. The bread was also seasoned and crunchy without being hard. The truffle cake was also really good, it wasn’t overwhelming or overly sweet.
Delicious. Haven't been to Queen's Pasta in years as I moved away from the neighbourhood. Was so glad to go back and enjoy a wonderful meal. Won't stay away so long now that I've rediscovered Queen's Pasta. Thank you for a delicious meal and lovely dining experience!
Is it accessible? To dine in yes but to use the washroom...no. There is no washroom without using stairs to go to the basement. Price to quality I found it a tad pricey for the food portion I had atleast. I had the butter-nut squash stuffed agnolotti with vegetables. Overall taste of the dish was nice. My friends had the Veal plate and Penne a La Vodka. All plates were tasty. The dessert menu is very good! They had a nice variety of italian desserts. I strongly recomend the house made tiramisu! Definitely worth coming back!
Great food at Queens pasta cafe. Nice environment for an evening dinner. We had the penne alla vodka and the agnolotti. The penne could have been better. Felt a bit rubbery. But the overall taste of the sauce & the bacon was good. Nice wine list too for a quick grab.
My wife and I have been coming to the Queen's Pasta Cafe for a number of years now; normally once or twice per season. It's our go to for pasta in the area. I always get the chicken parm as my entrée. Sorry that I cannot brag about any of the other dishes; but my wife does have her couple favorite dishes that she mixes up with each visit. We share the bruschetta and any of their starter salads prior. We have never had a bad experience at Queen's. The food is always excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean. Lastly, we recently discovered espresso martinis through a friend. Our first was at Queen's Pasta and we were blown away. Since then, we've been going around Bloor West Village trying other espresso martinis elsewhere and have yet to find one nearly as tasty. We just got back from Queen's, having an early supper. Sam Cooke was a good part of the background music, played at a nice volume. We could hear it and still have a conversation where we didn't have to speak over the music. Parking: A number of Green P parking lots on the north side of Bloor. Metered parking along Bloor. Or try your luck with side street parking in the area south of Bloor.
Pretty good pasta, good portions, and lovely staff.
