7 Sisters Food Mart

this store just announced it's closing august 2022 it was such a great store when Jenny and her family were running it, I bought almost all my groceries there. The new guy who replaced them works so hard, so many hours, but he has NO FOOD. I walk in looking for something simple like a can of beans, or a pint of cream, and walk out EMPTY HANDED?!?!? What kind of grocery store doesn't have a can of beans??? I truly hope a new owner/operator can turn the store around, there is nothing I value more than my pedestrian lifestyle, and no grocery store in the neighbourhood is going to really ruin that.

Been shopping there since I moved back to TO. Very pleasant staff, good prices. They should update their hours as they close at 8:30pm now, the change that has been implemented since the pandemic. Google Maps still show 10pm closing time.

7 Sister's Food Mart is one of my favorite spots for daily grocery shopping. The owner is a very friendly and helpful person. Plus they have variety of fresh vegetables and other necessities. It should be noted that the shop opens in late morning.

They repackaged their meat daily with new labels to trick us into thinking the meat is fresh. They also sit out in the alleyway and pick out moldy fruit so that they can continue to sell what they have left. Not sanitary. Many items are past their expiry dates as well. Really not impressed.

Half the shelves were empty, the store is not clean and not in good shape. A friend bought crackers, there was no expiry date on it . The crackers had after taste, obviously was not fresh at all.

A great local grocer. A surprisingly large selection of produce and pantry items. The family that owns it is always so friendly. I always come back for the stir fry veggies that are just $1.99

They never have anything stocked, it looks like the market got robbed, and they charge 50 cents for debit/credit

Yes there are some bargins here but...the store needs a makeover, the floors are filty broken tiles. the fridges have to be circa 1970s So I say to the new owners Clean the place, you will attract more customers!

My husband went in the other day to pick up a couple things we had missed when doing groceries and decided to pick up a bag of two bite brownies. There was no best before date on the bag, which he forgot to check in the store. These were the most STALE things I have ever bit into. I have no idea how long they were sitting on the shelf. Lesson learned: always check dates and never buy something with out one on it.

Prices on shelves don't actually correspond with products. Zero consistency of products. Seen so much expired food, even food that was moldy af...
