Story

Bordering the Little Qualicum River and 400 yards to the beach, we are a family friendly resort with lots to do and enjoy in a park-like setting. Enjoy quality, clean and spacious cabins, townhouses or condos. Over 45 campsites, each with their fire pits, picnic tables and free wifi. Two outdoor pools, giant waterslide and nature mini golf. Fun for the whole family!

I spent a few nights here with my fiancee and two kids last summer during august and it was amazing. The staff members were so welcoming and accommodating to all of our needs. Check in was smooth and they even set us up with an "ultimate package" that gave us access to the watersides and mini golf. The ocean is also a 10 minute walk from our room. We only had one small issue while there, this being that we were missing a blanket for the pull out couch in the living area of our cabin, we let housekeeping know and they brought us one within 5 minutes. all in all definitely recommend this resort to family's with younger children.

I stayed here for a night a couple days ago travelling for work and was looking for a fair priced room for 2 people. The place is very welcoming, the staff are great and the room was spot on for how much it was. Clean and simple. The laundromat is also very convenient and clean. Good place. Couldn't have asked for greater service from all the staff.

Great location - Love that you can just walk right through to the river. If you are planning to stay long term just note that the sites are on gravel lots. Would be a lot nicer with some grass. Only thing I didn’t like was that they seem to take their time filling the holes in the roads in there but other than that it’s a fine place😀

Value for the money. Our family stayed here for camping and it is quite a good value for the price. I cannot comment on the motel rooms what they are like, but for the camping there are three different types of sites. Full hookup sites, partial hookup sites and tenting sites. We were at a tent sight, where you get a picnic table and a fire pit (although fires at this time were banned). There is also for free WiFi throughout the resort. For the kids there is a pool and for an extra daily charge there are water slides. There is also full playground for the little guys and for an extra charge mini golf. A couple of suggestions for when you do come here, if you are camping try to get a spot that's as far away from the main road as possible. We were close to the main road and you get a lot of the traffic noise during the morning as everyone commutes to work. Also try to have all your food ready to go with you if camping. There is a convenience store at the resort but the prices are much more. There are 2 grocery stores about 15 minutes away.

Absolutely disgustingly dirty. Bedding had not been changed. Towels were folded with hair in them. Floor all torn up. And the worst part....the smell in the room. It actually was so gross I was throwing up. Yet still charged. DO NOT STAY in this place. The pictures online showed a beautiful cabin....not at all what they actually are. Worst hotel experience of my life and I travel frequently
