We have been coming to Surfside for years and it continues to be one of the premier resorts on van isle. Example: We were having issues with our cable box. Finally phoned Ian Pitcairn at office. Nobody available to assist but Ian offered to come to our site on his own time after hours. True to his word, he attended and solved problem. So much appreciated and shows the extra mile people go to ensure guest comfort.
Wasn't allowed to stay at this RV resort as they don't allow Truck Campers - The man I spoke to on the phone spoke to me like I didn't know what an RV was because I said I had a truck camper - so rude! I have a 2016 Eagle Cap 1165 with two slides and dry bath - 27ft. It's a beautiful camper that came with a big price tag. Check them out they are just as classy as any pull behind or camper van. This is discrimination!!! Thanks for listening.
Please make sure that your super rich clients that can't tolerate mine or others rv's to look at don't come into our not so rich areas and buy things. Maybe we should judge you but honestly we are more likely healthier and more acceptable and more respectful thatn you. I am a healthcare aide and security guard.. So if you need prtoection of your rich items or need health care from us, please just take care of your own things as you blatantly have no concern or respect for others unless they have fancy rv's.. You members must be feeling all holier than thou.. Disgusting behaviour!!
The sites were very well maintained and the pool was a favorite for myself and the kids! It’s a shame the hot tub wasn’t working and by the sound of it hasn’t been for a while but we’re already planning our return next year!Service: 5/5

The park is beautiful and it is very well managed. We love how clean and quiet this place is! We already booked for more trips and will definitely be back. Karla at the front office is super nice and helpful. We are so happy to find such a lovely place, highly recommended...Service: 5/5
The receptionist should take a drive around the site to familiarize herself with the overnight camp sites or give out clearer instructions on how to get to the site. We stayed one night but could not find our campsite. Finally we waved down the resort attendant and he gave us another camp site because he said he was confused looking at the directions. Also, not very kid friendly. They have a small pool which is okay if there aren't to many kids. Washrooms are quite far away from the campsite and there are only two showers in the mens bathroom. Camp ground itself is not very pretty. It lacking trees for shade and there is no grass on the campsites only gravel and rocks. I didn't notice any garbage cans so I could not dispose of my trash until I left the resort. I think this resort needs some personality. Its okay for the full timers who live there but for the overnighters at $65.00 per night it is a rip off. Go somewhere else.
Amazing sunset views in a very upscale RV park. Very clean with great staff and lots of top notch facilities. Nice community of full time residents. Very welcoming to short term stays. Would like to full time here someday.
Stayed here without the kids last year. Place is well maintained with strict rules. Strange staying at a place though with so many permanent residents when you are there for only a couple nights. Seems like only a handful of daily rental spots. Probably not the best place to bring kids, but no complaints either.
A beautiful community by the ocean filled with lots of great RV sites, close to parks and trails, and also within walking distance to stores. We keep coming back for the past 16 years! Office is very efficient.
