Riverside Inn Racine

Lotsss of Mexicans LIVE here (literally) and they hang out all over the back common areas and the hallways. The rooms are not bad, it was clean especially the bathroom (I was surprised). 32 Inch flat screen. The outside could use a makeover. It's like a huge motel rather than a hotel. The hallway interior is like something from the 1930's and dark. The pool is NEVER open though so if you want to swim don't come here.. Unless you're gonna go jump in the river out back (lol). It's not the best but it's not the worst. It's CHEAP so you get what you pay for.

Wish I could give it zero stars! Gross, disgusting and unsanitary. Someone tried to bust in our room at 3 am and almost succeeded because the door lock was faulty. The phone didn't even have a cord to connect it to the wall. The refrigerator smelled like a dead body had been stored in it. No cable, no restaurant (not that I would have eaten there) no trash cans, blow dryer or iron in the room. NO ELEVATORS. The pool isn't operable and it is beside The dumpster and scary. The carpet felt damp and moldy. Non smoking room smelt like 50 years of smoke. Possible prostitute in the parking lot arguing with a guy. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I called and spoke with Jason top make reservations for 2 rooms last Saturday. Jason asked what time we would be there and I told him after 10 pm. When we got to the hotel to check in we were told they had no rooms available. I explained I had reservations for two rooms, and again was told they didn't have any and we needed to leave. Now we were an hour and a half from home with no place to stay, no resolution. Very rude female employee, and whoever the guy was that was there being threatening to me in my face should not have a job there...or anywhere if dealing with customers.

ZERO STARS!!!! The health department should shut this place down!!!!! IBVS ALL I CAN SAY THIS PLACE OFFERS IS FILTH AND ROACHES ALOT OF. ROACHES! !!! And management don't care.
