Beach Aire Motel

Kudos to the motel... Low price definitely gave me all I and family needed... Dude I think his name is asham he was a good dude if I had a problem he fixed it... I would go back again, very nice view, cabins are cool and its comfy....

The room was very cold with no heat in the bathroom. There was no readily available hot water in the kitchen area. Visitors were frowned on and no overnight guest. At $250/week they were over-priced; I could find a studio for a lot less than a thousand dollars a month. This is only a place for people staying long term that don't want or can't get a lease with no social life. On the plus side were a) 2 electric burners b) kitchen table with 2 chairs c) large dorm style fridge.

We stayed last night and it was just fine. The reviews of this place are a bit too harsh. If you are a budget traveler accustomed to budget accommodations, you will have no issues at the Beach Aire Motel. Our room was clean, clean sheets, mattress was fine, and a few nice extras: microwave, mini fridge. Of course there is some quirkiness: fiesta colored tile in the shower, bathroom door hung crooked, etc... Also the outdoor areas are quite nice. Grassy lawn, fire pit with chairs, picnic table under a pavilion, and some outdoor benches. We enjoyed sitting out having a beer and watching the lightning bugs looking out at the lake. No beach access, despite the motel's name. The guy running the place was a little odd, and came across a bit rude at first, but likely just an odd type. We would stay here again, especially for the price.
