Rivermark Community Credit Union - Beaverton

I only have good thoughts of Rivermark. Every time I want to do something bank related, they make it super simple. When I want to get money or deposit money, it's a painless process. They have very low interest on money borrowed and very high dividends on savings and checking accounts. What I really like is that there are absolutely no monthly maintenance fees, and the attention I could never seem to get at other banks. Thanks Rivermark!

I feel like this credit union actually cares about me. I have had a few loans with them, without hesitation. They are always so super friendly, and make everything very easy, I have t needed to actually go into a branch in a long while, bc there online service is so Wonder. I have never had to wait long on the phone, or there chat service. Thank you guys so much for all you have done for me!!!

I have been with Rivermark for 15 years. Due to higher interest rates on loans, I bank elsewhere for loan related banking. Last Friday, my husband and I had an appointment with our "loan" account bank. We cancelled it due to receiving a Rivermark flyer advertising rates lower than prime (4.21%) and maxing at 7.01%. We went the the Rivermark branch advertising the rates. They called financing, who called marketing. "Nope that must be a mistake". We went to leave when we saw the same flyer on their door. We were then told "we will honor it". And "Ms. Sandoval (financing rep.) Will call you". No call. We went back in on Sat. (As we are trying to purchase am RV.) We were then told Ms. Sandoval's notes claimed she called. Nope. When I started saying we could compromise on the rate so it's not lower than prime, "we are good to go at 4.21%". As LOC can take a few weeks, we agreed to apply fpr an RV loan then we could pay it off with the LOC. "It will only take a couple hours". To shorten the rest of this week long chaos... We have been strung along, misled, talked down to, told we didn't have to come in again, now we do,ignored, and when speaking with the finance manager, James Wyse, I felt like I was being talked at by a debt collector and someone who considered me a valued customer. Because we didnt qualify for "the lowest rate, instead the second lowest, they found a loop hole, went back on their word, lied about calling us (I even did a print out through Verizon to see if I missed something). Almost a week later, we are still not financed. The man we are buying from is running impatient and told us tonight, "I have sold dozens of trailers and there is too many hoops for this". So I canceled my appointment with my normal loan bank for a interest rate matrix that never existed and now have to do this whole process with them again to get the rate I knew I would get last Friday. Rivermark advertised 4.21-7.01% but were actually at 4.99-10.74%. Then offered us 5.49% (becaue my husband's credit was one category below minimum on their matrix). My loan bank is .5% less. Rivermark offered us 6.49% on the RV loan. My loan bank offered us 4.99%, with less fees on both. .5-1.5% is a big difference. After 15 years, several accounts, our last RV, and various credit, I will be closing our accounts.

Quick and easy refinancing on my car loan, after having no credit and a 16% interest rate. I was walked through an application over the phone that was quick and easy, and I was able to lower my interest rate down to 4.9% a HUGE improvement.

I came in 30 minutes before closing to open an account and get pre-approved for a car loan, and Shaun went above and beyond to get it done- which meant staying after close to help me out. I'm extremely thankful for people like him!
