I have been training with Matt at Rise Above Fitness to achieve a goal that determines my career eligibility, not to mention to consistently improve my personal well being. If you're looking for a true personal wellness studio, Rise Above is the jackpot. True 1 on 1 training with trainers who are educated and passionate about fitness. This studio has a good range of equipment and just an overall comfortable place - something that I personally enjoy. I am not a big fan at all of the typical "Gym Scene," and Rise Above allows me to be myself while receiving a quality workout.
My trainer Matt is an unbelievable guy. He's very patient when training you and allows you to focus in on the workouts. He's by your side all the time, but again doesn't overwhelm you. Matt is non-judgmental and encourages me to be myself and do what I need to do in order to add to a successful workout. Every session Matt changes up the workouts and ensures that I am being challenged. I came to Matt with a personal goal, and areas of my body that I need to improve on (losing weight in certain areas and gaining muscle in certain areas). Matt schedules and incorporates exercises that will help me reach my goal. He's extremely detailed and when I walk in to the studio, he always has on a board what we'll be doing for the session (true dedication to clients). Matt is also very knowledgeable about fitness and muscle groups and consistently ensures what muscle groups are being targeted during a workout. Nothing beats a great atmosphere and a great trainer.
