Dog off leash trails!! Trails are not neatly maintained here. They are muddy and rocky and full of tree roots. It's a nice little piece of wilderness, quite steep in some areas and will be challenging for beginner hikers. Worth a visit but is unlikely to become a favourite unless you live nearby. No viewpoint. Southernmost part of the loop trail is the bottom of the hill. Northernmost part of the top of the hill. The entire loop, in and out, took about an hour at a leisurely pace. Lots of street parking on Parkway Blvd most of the year. No street parking on one side of the street December 1 through March 15 snow route. No street parking at all when it snows.
Hidden gem! No main entrance, but wow what a park once your in! Nice loop with elevation, and many different areas. Not busy, as it’s an interesting one to find. Wow!! Off leash dog friendly.
Phenomenal little hike right in the backwoods of Westwood Plateau of Northern Coquitlam. These trails have many entrances/exit points. Highly recommend it in rainy/foggy weather as these effects add to the experience of the walk through the woods.
Good local park. Lots of trails and offers various levels of challenge. Good for a quick walk with the dog or you could spend a few hours covering all the ground. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place was so close to me. Some of the trails could use some attention from the parks department but overall a good place
Treed summit, a quick workout on a quiet rainy day. There's a little lookout enroute to the summit with a nice view of Coquitlam DT.
Very good community park in deep forest, elevation 280 meters, 4.5km loop.
Lovely trail! Quite flat so pretty easy and laid back to hike!
This park tells the sad story of how the city of coquitlam has neglected care for the tail system and community physical activity. The potential for this park is great and the day that the maps throughout the park get replaced by new updated, easy to follow maps,- old maps date 2000... - it will a step in the right direction. As of now, it is a failed community park.
A great 60-90 minute hike on good trails. There's a very nice lookout.
Only one tiny waterfall, but a great place to let your pooch roam off-leash
