My friends and I went here on a whim it was Easter Sunday and lots of places we expected to be open were closed and we are so glad we did! The service was excellent - our Sicilian waiter made a great wine recommendation based the type of profile I was after, and he was attentive and responded to us throughout the night with great care. The food was delicious, fresh and was very authentic Italian - the capretto and the gnocchi were standouts. The atmosphere was great. Highly recommended!

Can't recommend Riccardo's enough. Wonderful food and drinks but it was the service that really created an unforgettable experience. Diligent, knowledgable and really friendly. Made to feel at home which only enhanced the enjoyment of the top class dishes. Would return in a heartbeat when return to Chicago.

We enjoyed our meal and our waiter was wonderful! We had different friends recommend eating at Chicago Pizza and Oven Roaster, but accidentally went through the wrong door and ate here instead. The atmosphere felt refined and upscale. We were dressed for pizza and felt a bit underdressed after realizing we were in the wrong place. The eggplant dish was my favorite!! We will likely stop back in on a future trip.

My boyfriend and I ended up here on a whim after the restaurant next door had a wait - so glad we decided to eat here! The food reminded me so much of Italy - so authentic and the nicest staff. We had the carbonara and the veal ravioli and it was the best I’ve had in a long time! Tiramisu was delectable. Will definitely have to visit again when back in town.

Cozy Italian place, our server was great, and the food was amazing. Calamari was delicious. I loved how they had good sized portions. *chef’s kiss*

Ricardo Trattoria was excellent. Went with friends and had such a beautiful dinner. Started with a bottle of Barolo, our starters were the breasola carpaccio, fava beans, veal meatballs, all were super delicious. My main was the Veal Chop, delicious.The carbonara, ossobucco, and seafood risotto, were all a hit as well.. Loved the Brunello and Chianti, went really well with all the beautiful food we enjoyed. Brenda our server was very kind and efficient. Will definitely return soon.

Nothing about this place sucks. Service, food, drinks, ambiance, all top notch. Pasta is perfectly cooked and the duck ragu on special was to die for. I only wish I had room for more food! Make sure to get the tiramisu and an espresso to top the meal off - nothing better. The management and wait staff were phenomenal folks. We really appreciated our visit and will be back.

First visit last evening. Very nice and friendly inside. Service was good. Many dishes to pick from. Dinner meal was find though I was expecting better. Might try again.

Great service. Very classic French brasserie decor and delicious food. My steak was cooked perfectly so please give a raise to the meat station cook that worked brunch this past Sunday!
