Ricardo's Mediterranean Kitchen

I have always held Ricardo's on a high plateau, I have share many special moments there over the years. However this past weekend will be the last. I ordered the steak and I received the blacken prime rib when I notified the server he told me they were both steak and he heard me say prime rib. I didn't want to argue any further. our meals were ok at best. no one refilled our water glass the entire main course. we wanted to order a bottle of wine but no one bothered to ask us if we wanted. They did take off one of our drinks off the bill. when it came time for dessert we decided to go to Dairy Queen instead of spending any more time there. I'm sad to see a that they have lost there personal touch that made them famous

The food was not good. Period. The service was good and prompt, but my steak was overcooked and bland (not to metion the grill marks were burnt to a crisp), both my cocktail and my water had mysterious floating objects (dirty ice machine? unclean glassware?) and to top it all off the cheesecake tasted comparable to Safeway's. Now, to be fair they did comp my cheesecake when I let them know about the steak, but I have to say after noticing the slimy substance floating in my water glass after already finding black slimy bits of god-knows-what on/in my cocktail ice... I won't be going back. I hope they're able to fix these things, I know many people have better experiences than mine. As a first experience at a much talked of place I was incredibly disappointed and pretty grossed out.

I went to this restaurant a few months ago. My husband and I were expecting a wonderful meal. We had eaten there several years ago and the food and the service were wonderful. This time the pasta was incredibly overcooked, and when my husband asked to speak to the owner, a blonde woman, she really went off the deep end. She was rude, loud and vulgar. We will never go there again.

We visit Ricardo's 3-4 times a year and it is always great. Indoors is nice and cozy, outdoors has a great ambiance with water features and heaters. We bring our 2 year old with us and the staff is always smiling and great with kids! The blackened prime rib here is amazing! My wife loves the gnocchi.
