Reuben's Restaurant Delicatessen

This is a great place to eat. It opened in 1976!!! I've been going there for 35 yrs since I was a little girl with my Mom and now I go with my love. The smoked meat is great. Pass on the French onion soup cause it's horrible. But the coleslaw and pickle and especially the cheesecake is awesome. It's very popular not fancy at all but so warm cozy and welcoming. We had a great waitress Raya and we always have great service at Reuben's. I highly suggest it.

Reuben’s never disappoints. My boyfriend and I went to Reuben’s in the afternoon, it was fairly busy but we got seated immediately by a friendly waitress. We noticed that as we stood at the door, most of the staff smiled at us or said hello. We were seated in a booth, close to the smoked meat action. I ordered a small sandwich, which looked huge when it arrived at the table. My boyfriend had the big sandwich with poutine. Lots of food on the plate! We both ordered them medium, not too fatty, just delicious. We couldn’t resist having the strawberry cheesecake which was really creamy. The entire experience was amazing. The staff is super nice, the food is great and the place is clean. We will definitely be back!

Delicious smoked meat and big portions. Great desserts. Huge menu to choose from. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I’m in Montreal for business and I will definitely be eating here a few times.

Excellent service and food. Essential breakfast too if you are staying at a hotel downtown and want to skip the lines at Coras or Eggspectation. Food is probably better at Reuben's anyway.

This is a classic place in downtown Montreal. I had a Smoke Meat sandwich and a piece of there original home made Chesse Cake. It was delicious the service was great. It was very busy at lunch time it was also very clean. I would repeat this meal all over again.
