Rôtisserie St-Hubert

Went there for the brunch.... Waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive while others who were seated after us got their food within 20 minutes, that was a disappointing. We ordered the Mediterranean plate (14$) and the Belgian Waffle with Field Berries plate (15$), it not worth the price in terms of size and value. The Mediterranean plate was lacking some taste; the flat bread was stale and cold, the goat cheese did not taste fresh and the coffee tasted stale as well. The berries were good though. For a simple meal, it did not feel like it was worth 14$ compared to other places. The Belgian waffle plate consisted of one rather small waffle cut in half. The presentation was 'nice' but then again it felt more like an expensive dessert. Both plates came in trays which we found strange, it would have been nice to be served on a white plate. We weren't too thrilled with this experience and decided we wouldn't go back there for brunch. The service was nice though and the restaurant was charming.

We were a party of 4 and had reservations for 5:30 PM thinking we had plenty of time to cross the street to go to Place des Arts for 7:30 show. We arrived and were seated by 5:20. After about 15 minutes the waitress came and took our order. We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks and coleslaw to arrive. Then sat and watched as other people who arrived after us received their meals. I asked the waitress who passed by for water and if by our order would be arriving soon. She said she would check but did not come back. By this time it was close to 6:30 PM! We watched as another customer spoke to a waitress and said that he could not wait any longer as he did not want to rush down his dinner before going to the show. At this point we decided to wait another 10minutes and if we were not served that we also had no other choice to leave. We did leave at 6:45 PM. This is not the first time we have had this long wait. The previous time it took about an hour for our food to arrive. I cannot believe that a restaurant across from Place des Arts has such horrible service. They are fully aware that people either stop to eat before or after a major production.i definitely would not recommend this restaurant!

I left a comment on their site but they never replied so here I am writing a review here... They used to have really good poutine ... one of the best in town. This June 2017, In order to cut costs they replaced/reduced the ingredients for their cheaper alternatives. Now you get, instead of crispy good tasting fries, some soft brown fries one finds in cheap fast food places. You get so few cheese that you wonder why you are paying close to 10$ for something that is worth 3-4$. Oh and not to mention their sauce tastes diluted. Overall quality reduced from 9/10 to 4/10 (now) while the price remained constant 10$. Letdown and a dissapointment. Wont be making my plans anytime soon to return here. I used to be a loyal customer for many years, not anymore.. oh and their service is usually pretty slow too

I am not impressed with slow service. The restaurant is not even that busy. 15 minutes for an allonge and 30 minutes still no food. Seriously do something to improve service time.
