My optometrist referred me to Dr. Roberts because of a cluster of floaters that were causing problems with my eyesight. Dr. Roberts explained what the situation was, what could be done to remedy the situation, let me know the risks and answered my questions. I was scared to have the surgery. After all, it is your eyesight. The day after surgery when the eye patch came off, I was totally amazed at the result and how different things looked. No more cloudiness over my eye. Since I had floaters in both eyes, after waiting the timeframe required, I had the other eye done also. I was not nervous about this second surgery because I felt extremely confident that it would go as well as the first one, which it did. I did make a call to Dr. Roberts on a Saturday because of a concern and he got back to me in a very timely manner and let me know if I had any other concerns to get in touch with him. I feel my followup care has been great, very thorough. I would recommend Dr. Roberts to anyone with eye concerns.

Worst experience ever. If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband had a vision issue and was referred. The doctor was horrible and kept saying that it was caused by steroids, which my husband doesn't do, or pregnancy, which obviously he isn't. No treatment was given but we did receive a bill for over $300! Definitely go somewhere else!

I had a retinal detachment and Dr. Earl did the surgery and aftercare. He was patient in answering my questions, as were the staff members. It was a trying time for me, and everyone was kind and helpful. They were able to save a lot of my sight in a pretty ratty eye. I got a lot of helpful info for the future.

This was the worst experience I've ever had in a doctor's office, no hyperbole. For starters, the receptionists are absolutely DREADFUL. They're rude, at best they sound like they HATE their job, and they had to fax my referral off three times. THREE. Oh, and let's talk about the serious referral I needed, and how poorly that was handled: I have a suspected disorder that needs an immediate neurology referral and prescription to get better. In short, I'm losing my vision. The first transgression occurred when the receptionist NEVER TOLD ME TO BRING A DRIVER WHEN GETTING MY EYES DILATED. Thankfully, a family member knew better and came with me. I would have been so unsafe in my car otherwise. Day of the appointment, after dealing with more receptionists that must have tried out for a real life.production of the Wizard of Oz as a certain green lady, I saw Doctor Earl. Let me tell you about how the worst bedside manner from an ancient old man feels like: he started with the worst case scenario, without even saying, "but I'm pretty sure it's simple". By the way, some people DON'T want to immediately know that they may have MS or a surgical shunt TWO MINUTES AFTER INTRODUCING YOURSELF (barely an introduction, also). Another woman sat down and stared at me while she typed, and never introuduced herself. As I sat there in blinded, blurrym dilated vision and cried painful tears, I felt like a science experiment. I felt embarrassed and awful. When is the last time you felt that at a doctor's visit? Never, I hope, nobody deserves that. After this whole horror show, it took three times for a referral from an incompetent receptionist with a bad attitude who blamed them (see a pattern?). IF YOU WANT DECENT EYE CARE, MOVE ALONG AND FIND ANOTHER. Heed my caution, don't let someone trap you in a referral there like I was duped into. Request another, or just schedule your own.
