Always looking forward to my training sessions and that coming from someone who used to dread exercising. I struggle with neck and back pain and from the start Ryan put together an action plan to target problematic areas and help build strength to improve that. I’ve gotten much stronger and my posture has steadily improved, I am challenged in the workouts but with safety and injury prevention always in mind. Ryan constantly adapts based on my limitations, sometimes on the fly, and is very attentive to feedback in case things need to be adjusted, which is not something you can have in a group class, especially if you don’t know your body that well. I’ve learned a lot more about fitness, muscles and most importantly it has helped me develop a habit that I actually enjoy and will be part of my life from now and that is invaluable! Highly recommend working with Ryan for anyone who is starting or is well on their fitness journey!
Nearly a year ago, I decided to embark on a journey of health and fitness. I called different trainers and training companies, but was left feeling like just another client, the companies were missing the personal connection. I found Ryan’s contact information, we talked over the phone and we decided to have an initial meeting to further review my fitness goals. Immediately, I found that Ryan had a genuine interest in facilitating me to achieve my fitness goals; I felt Ryan wanted me to succeed, as much as I wanted myself to succeed. Until a few months ago, due to the tighter restrictions with COVID, Ryan and I worked together multiple times per week. Ryan always brought a new activity to try out, while keeping activities that I liked relevant. I appreciated this aspect of the personal training, fitness may not be the most thrilling activity, but Ryan always made the hour fun and enjoyable. If you are just starting out with fitness, or a seasoned professional wanting to brush up on fitness training methods, I highly recommend Ryan.
My husband and I have never been able to stick to a fitness regime due to scheduling, inconvenience, or just plain lame excuses. But Ryan makes every workout interesting and fun, while also providing solid results, which keeps us consistent over months and months. Ryan is friendly, encouraging and accommodating of our slightly differing exercise needs and abilities. Highly recommend!
