I always compare food in Durham with what we had available growing up in Scarborough cause let's face it finding different ethnic food here is difficult. This did not disappoint! Delicious. Not greasy and well priced. Butter chicken on point along with everything else we ordered. For the amount of food you get the value is amazing. Great family easy to talk to and you can taste their passion in the food. I wish it was spicier that's probably the only bad thing I could say. Will be coming back! Vegetarian options: I don't usually go for vegetarian options but my wife did and they were delicious. Parking: Plenty of parking
This place is actually very good! We tried some dosas and it was pretty authentic to the south Asian flavours. The staff here were pretty friendly too! Overall great experience!

We tried Mysore Masala Dosa, Samosa, Indian style coffee and paneer tikka masala.. Everything tasted soooooo yummy… Her Mysore Masala Dosa is the best dosa I have eaten in Canada. Its exactly like what you get in Bangalore. I am going to go regularly now that I have tasted her amazing food. Customer Service is also outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Indian food, especially South Indian.
Healthy, delicious food in generous portions. The restaurant has a professional and friendly vibe thanks to a great job branding and very pleasant staff. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Oh boy this place is hopping! I'm so happy I ordered ahead. There were LARGE chunks of meat in the 3 meat dishes, and there was plenty with leftover for 5 adults. The Palak Paneer and Channa Masala were amazing. The flavours of the sauce on rice was over the top. 100% a do again with the friendly service. I note that they offer samosas, thats on the list for our next meal from Rekha's.
I'm happy with the food taste and it was great. I ordered Masala dosa, combo and vegetable pakoda. They gave masala dosa along with chutney and sambar. It was tasty but chutney was extremely spicy. Spice level can be reduced. The combo quantity is very less and also pricey for that less quantity. Vegetarian food taste good. This is a nice take out place their quantity can be increased and I recommend this place. I will visit again.
Tried mysore masaa dosa and samosa today and it was very authentic with huge quantity. Loved the food.. I wish they had more openings hours..
Story goes that this restaurant began when chef Rehka began selling food out of her home, then parking lots, then catering expanded into this popular take-out location. It doesn't disappoint. Lunch special is only $7.99 offering a choice of one meat dish, one vegetable dish, served w basmati rice and nan bread. I wanted to drink the butter chicken sauce.. it's soooo good. Seating inside is limited to 4 stools in front of the window. Take-out recommended.
