Bought 2 cars from them within 6 months. Battery is always bad even if they day its good. There's always hidden issues that somehow isnt covered in their policy. You have to pay taxes and buyers fee and for what? A car with unreported issues? Not worth it unless you get the car for half its value then after fees and tax and unexpected repairs you might have a good deal... or you could just buy privately.nnOverall their process is painful and their accountability is quite low. If you can find a steal they're fine.. otherwise buy at your own risk. For example the first car had a battery about to blow, engine mount was broken and had a broken axle and one window didn't go down and the sunroof was stuck. Did they report these things? Nah. But I guess it depends in the honesty of the place they get the car too. Overall risk is high at this place.

Bought a couple vehicles from here and the process has always been smooth and stress free! I had an issue with 2 vehicles i bought from them and they stuck to their word on the buyer policy. Sophie Koster has been amazing to deal with very understanding, transparent and very quick with the replies even though its through email. If i could give more stars i would due to her!

Bought a 2011 Range Rover from Regal Auctions, and it turned into one of the most stressful car buys ever.nThe online listing showed no issues, but 15–20 minutes after leaving the lot, the check engine light came on. I drove it carefully home to Edmonton and got it inspected at first practical opportunity.nThe shop found Cylinder 3 misfire, compression only 110 psi, damaged spark-plug threads, and an EPB fault. I also noticed the terrain modes and parking brake didn’t work.nnI sent Regal the full report immediately. Sophie was great — she even extended my Buyer Protection and offered me a full or partial refund.nThen DWAYNE REILANDER, the arbitration manager, took over my case. His tone felt unprofessional, and he made the process harder than it needed to be. He kept on asking the same questions again and again — when did the light come on, how far did I drive, why didn’t I turn back, etc. It honestly felt like he was trying to make me give up or take the blame. He even said I was “negligent,” which was a joke considering I followed the rules and got it inspected the next day. In my opinion, buyers shouldn’t have to deal with that kind of attitude when they’re just trying to get help under the Buyer Protection policy. And addition to that he banned me for exercising my rights.nnMeanwhile, I had to insure, register, fuel, and drive back and forth between Edmonton and Calgary, take time off work, and pay a mechanic out of pocket. I bought the car september 30 and they didn’t finalize the refund until Oct 16.nnIn the end, they sent my full refund, but instead of a simple e-transfer or courier’s,Dwayne mailed me a cheque by regular post during a Canada Post strike. Totally unnecessary stress.nnBuyer Protection eventually worked, but the process was way harder than it needed to be. If you buy from Regal, document everything, keep it in writing, and don’t let anyone like Dwayne talk down to you.

The Best place to sell your vehicle. Hastle freen. They definitely know the business. We came in with a price in mind and after they viewed our car we were given a price they felt it would sell for which it did. Two weeks later we picked up the check. Great job thank you Regal auctions. Dan B.
