Red's Trading Post

This place is better than any big name chain hardware store. You can find all kinds of good things in here and at a reasonable to dirt cheap price too! If you're considering a remodel, building something new or just need a few new tools I would definitely recommend checking here first.

Do not be put off by the appearance of Red's. Inside, you will get the best service and knowledge of products and DIY. Red's guys really know their stuff, and they are a great help especially for anything that does not come in a nice tidy package, even though they have those too. You go to Red's and get what you need and you'll start thinking you know what you're doing.

Somewhere between hardware store and antique shop, during my recent trip to the Dalles I couldn't spend enough time here just looking around. Hidden gem.

This place can be a treasure trove ...a true "general store" environment with a pawnshop element woven in and all wrapped around general hardware. AWESOME BARGAINS HERE!!!! The guys are pretty laid back and never get too stirred up, but they will always do their best to get you fixed up and on your way...not only with a smile, but with some change left over in your pocket!! Also a great selection of Aladin oil Lamps and Lodge cast iron cookware.
