Red Cap Restaurant and Motel

Nice little motel with just 6 rooms. Extremely clean, comfortable bed, everything in good working order, and even a bit of an ocean view. We had the "Fish with Lobster Sauce" at the attached restaurant and it was fabulous!! We are both very happy with the room and restaurant, and would recommended it to anyone.

The food is so yummy. We ate here 2 times while visiting the area. Had the lobster club which was great and I chose a twice baked potatoes as my side which was ok. Then had soup of the day tomato cream. Best soup i have had in a long time. And tried the special which was a pork schnitzel with sage cream. Very Good! Good service, slowed a bit on one visit. But we knew it was because the kitchen was trying to get out food for a table of 20.

Better than average food. Nice ambiance. Try the Haddock in Lobster sauce. Essentially a hot lobster sandwich ( creamed lobster, the best way to have it) but instead of 🍞 you get fresh local fish.

Fresh, delicious food in a cozy room. Warm, friendly service, ample portions and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
