RBC Royal Bank

Its difficult to communicate with employee's effectively and it leads to having to return to the bank repeatedly to have mistakes taken care of over-and-over again. Such as the debit card not connecting to accounts . We also had an issue when we were opening my husband's accounts because the girl didnt seem to understand how it worked, I had to explain to her what she was seeing on her screen.nnI like rbc because theyre banking has been more efficient prior to these recent events. But lately its been frustrating.

I have been a Royal Bank customer for years, along with many of my family members. Their service has always been very good. I’ve had no complaints. Recently, our family experienced the unexpected and have had a lot financial matters we have had to deal with. I can honestly say, every encounter we have had along the way has been exactly what we needed. From the initial financial advisor meeting, to weekly stop ins to the tellers to deal with issues and obstacles that presented over the last several weeks everyone has been lovely and so kind and compassionate. I wish I knew each of the tellers names, because they all deserve recognition for their professionalism and compassion. One in particular we have dealt with a great deal has been Victoria. Exceptional customer service. So helpful, so patient, and so kind. You made what was one of the most stressful times in our lives so much easier. The slowest most incompetent employees I have ever seen. 0 hustle. It's like they get off on staring into space. I was going to open up an account with them. Not anymore. Closing what I opened online.

Update March 2026: This location now locks their door so you cannot even access an ATM!! What a joke of a bank!!! It’s like it is 1975 and ATM’s don’t exist. Closest bank to the hospital and they don’t allow you emergency access to an ATM.nnEvery time I stop here to use their atm I get a message saying they can’t accept deposits. What kind of bank doesn’t accept deposits?!

Would be a great bank if you could access the ATM on weekends and after hours.
