Beautiful and clean. Staff are great on it watch out for the money crunchers. They are pretty ruthless. After being robbed of everything we owned. My gf and I had set up camp there. After about 2 weeks of us sweating to make sure everything was watertight I had gotten called out to work. I came back and was asked to leave for non payment. I had explained that I was working out of town and that I had just paid and was told that the management wanted us out. We were never around. The office had my phone number. They could have called and I woulda sent someone down. No call just booted. Giving 2 days to take all our gear and a camper. Which we don't have a truck either and had a crane truck bring it in and find somewhere else to go. Still searching for somewhere. I must admit I love the park but management can suck my balls. Pure money hungry goofs....

Stayed for a night mid August and was blown away by this campground. We pre-booked a site on the ocean side and once we were set up we realized we couldn't even see any other campers from our spot. Hopped on our bicycles and rode the trail thru the incredible old growth trees along the ocean to the beach. When tide is out you have a long walk to get to water deep enough to sit in but it's all part of the experience. Campground was clean as could be and the bathrooms and hot showers were spectacularly clean. Mark your calendars your 4 months advance of the day you want to book and you'll have your pick of the litter as far as sites go. Enjoy!!

This is probably the most popular Campground on the island,, for good reason but unless you are extremely lucky you had better have a reservation from June to September. We have a biggish Motorhome with solar so find the main campground a bit tight to park in and often too shaded to get the full advantage of our solar panels. We had heard they added campsites but when we saw they were in what used to be parking lots we were leery. But we booked one, ( nothing else available) and were pleasantly surprised. The sites are huge, nicely separately by split rail fencing. Each spot has nice new picnic table and a fire ring. They are essentially set up for RV's but we saw tenters in there too. Open enough for some sun for most of the day. Trees backing all the sites.Perfect for us. No services as is standard in BC Provincial Parks. A couple minutes walk to the beach and trails

Great first visit. Nice large sites with plenty of room between them. Clean facilities and park in general. Plenty of bathrooms and showers. Lots of nice walking trails. Easy access to a wonderful beach. Convenient location with other attractions nearby.

Great spot, but it's always busy. The staff are always helpful.
