Ranger`s Retreat Bed and Breakfast

Wonderful!! Ranger's Retreat is the perfect place to stay, with nice rooms, a wonderful backyard and a saltwater pool. The breakfast is gorgeous, overwhelming, you have to see it with your own eyes to believe it. And everything is freshly made! In one word: Perfect!!!

This was our 2nd visit to Ranger's Retreat and our experience was as wonderful as the first time. Brian and Jan are the ultimate hosts. They make sure every imaginable comfort is addressed. We brought along another couple who now have declared this their favorite B + B, too. The grounds are impeccable and the inside is warm and inviting. A must is a lesson on running their new coffee/expresso machine that can handle any type of coffee. The breakfast experience is absolutely wonderful. In addition to the many breads, jams, cheeses and main course there is enough food to feed anyone's special tastes. Brian's knowledge of the cheeses is astounding. You can also ask for local dinner recommendations in the area and know you are getting the advise of a world class chef. You won't be disappointed staying here. A fabulous experience was had by all, and we will be back!

It is seldom that you find a perfect hideaway. My wife and I had the honour of staying 2 nights at Rangers Retreat. Our hosts were professional, cuterous and all around amazing individuals. Gourmet breakfast. Really to the highest standards of any hotel I have ever been to. 20 different cheeses, assortments of homemade breads, puddings, yogurt, berries.. the list goes on. Just incredible. The house is gorgeous, clean and well decorated. Our hats off to Brian and Jaan. The true stars of our stay as they made sure all of our needs were met. I would peg this gem against any hotel you could imagine. Thanks! Will be back with the whole family next time!

Home away from home! Everything you could ever imagine in a hotel and more. The breakfast is incredible and unending. 10/10 would recommend.

Ranger's Retreat is our favourite bnb in NotL or anywhere else. We stay here at least once a year for a bike and wine trip or a show at the Shaw. Breakfast is amazing and includes a plate of 18 kinds of cheese. The host (Brian) is very accommodating​ and has rescued us from any number of travel mishaps over the years, from a forgotten e-reader on up. There is also a heated pool in the back, perfect after a tiring afternoon biking to wineries.
