Ramsey County Human Resources

I have never left a review for a public service institution, but this one is the worst. Reading through all of these, I can see why. They have ridiculous employees who leave paperwork unfilled and filed at the desk while they don't answer or return calls. I have slipped through the cracks multiple times because of this. No wonder people don't like Ramsey County human services, even Hennepin was better then this and they admit that they have problems at their county building, but somehow this one is worse. I seem to have caught a commonality here, which all seems to be true. Some of the things I've named are shared by others; so I know this can't just be me.

The place is so cold, temperature totally unacceptable environment for sleeping or sitting in community space. The food is so awful. If diabetic, way too much carbs. Only able to eat hard boiled eggs, fruit. I realize it isn't the Ritz, but for human comfort, some heat and better food. And lack of hot water for showering. They talk about making you as comfortable as possible, but this is inhumane

Ive been a client who has slipped through so many cracks. Its excuse after excuse with these people. They're always short staffed and nothing is EVER good enough on the clients end. Ive been told I can't get pdf forms of documents and they deliberately deliver them late so it surpasses your deadline, making them close your case. It sickens me that we are considered one of the better states, imagine how much worse it is elsewhere. Our system is so broken....

I have never had a worse time dealing with a agency. They are rude and mean the person I most resently talked to even called me a lier. I have lived in Ramsey Co for years and can't stand dealing with these people 0

Hire employees to abandon and hang up calls. Do not send out correct paperwork and cancel benefits.

I was abused by my human services worker

These people have no idea what they're doing. It's actually scary they're tasked to handle such important jobs.

I never write reviews but this agency that I talk with when applying for a job was very rude and just hang up the phone on me when I was talking and trying to answer her question.

Never pick up the phone.
