City & County Credit Union - Downtown Saint Paul Office

I recently visited the St. Paul branch to get Gold Medallion Signatures as well as notarization of important legal documents. As always, I was met by friendly, professional staff members who provided me with the service I needed in a quick and efficient manner. This is a great place to bank. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of joining a credit union.

I recently took payment in the form of check from City & County Credit Union. I went to cash the check, and they wanted to charge me 10.00 because I didn't have an account there. I understand that it is within their right to do so, but it should have to be disclosed on their checks if that's the case. It's odd, I will be charging their members ten dollars to pay me with checks from now on, and I will make sure to mention it to the small business network.

As a long time customer of City and County Credit Union I thought I would take a chance and ask for a loan to help pay down my debit so I could by a house. I was denied because I owed to much on my Fingerhut account. My feeling this is a great place to get your check deposited rather then pay fee's at check cashing places. Don't ask for a loan unless you have perfect credit.

Love City and County! My only negative feedback is the ATM in Maplewood is either out of service or out of cash on Thursday nights. A handful of times I haven't been able to get cash and have to stop somewhere else and pay the fee.

Long time customer. I asked twice for a "rewards" cc and was denied both times citing high debt ratio! I have no cc debt, zero.i have excellent credit. The only reason I wanted a rewards card was to get the rewards. I was going to use the card the same way I use my debit card. I explained that to them but they didn't take the time to look at my long history with them. If they would have done what they said they would, they would have seem my outstanding history. They don't look at customers on an individual basis as a credit union should! Cccu rules with an iron fist! Not for the customers just for cccu! I have brought them several customers over the years. I have checking, savings, auto, even my home with them! Phone calls are not returned in a timely fashion citing they are busy!! Wow, not acceptable. I'm shopping for a credit union that looks at my individual needs and works with me. Cccu no longer does this. Too busy. Very disappointed.
