Ramada Marquette

I reserved a poolside suite the day after New year's and was charged for the suite but was given a regular poolside room with 2 double beds. I didn't complain because I didn't want to deal with the hassle. I will try the Hampton inn next time similar price for better quality.

Friday, March 9th my cousin was having her ninth birthday party here. my aunt had called weeks beforehand to reserve rooms and schedule a pool party, they said that was fine. the day of the party the manager kicked all of the children out of the hotel because they claimed we didn't inform them of the party and all of the children weren't registered guests. even after offering to pay for each child to swim, we were told to leave the hotel or "drastic measures will be taken". we were told then that pool parties were against their policy. parents reached out to the corporate office, who said they have no such rule. all of this because a nine year old wanted to swim with some of her friends on her birthday. many families will now be no longer staying here due to the rudeness of the manager and complete disregard for the customers satisfaction.

We recently visited friends staying at the Ramada. We had a nice experience and were able to enjoy the pool. The housekeeper Vonnie was amazing and kind! Drinks from the bar we're tasty. It is definitely somewhere I would visit again.

The suite up top is amazing. The view could never get old. Make sure to have a drink at the bar downstairs. Fantastic service...

Good accommodations close to the college so not much time spent getting to and from events there. Right in the downtown district too. Handy for shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful.
