A pleasant blend of rustic charm and modern accommodations awaits you at the Cedar Motor Inn. Family-owned over 40 years, our small-scale AAA diamond approved hotel is in Marquette, nestled against the north woods near the shores of Lake Superior. We offer the vacationer, the traveler or a business person 43 rooms to choose from, including a mini-housekeeping cottage suite that can accommodate 2-3 people.

Your hosts Lyn and Reg Durant hope you will choose the Cedar Motor Inn for your spring getaway, a summer vacation, a fall escape or winter fun this year. We promise to provide you with quality lodging in a family-owned atmosphere that will entice you to return year after year.

Amenities include: Pool, spa, steam sauna, HBO, free wireless internet, in room coffee pots and pet friendly rooms available upon request. We are with in minutes of shopping, restaurants, ski trails, hiking/biking trails and Marquette Mountain. Downtown shopping and the majestic lake superior are within 3 miles from our facility.

We offer a small jump start continental breakfast including: Coffee, teas, milk, juice, hot chocolate, apple cider, fresh fruit as well as various types of cold cereals, oatmeal, muffins and Danishes.

Please remember the office is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. EDT. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. We will make every effort to accommodate requested reservations prior to this time. * If you need a later arrival, please call the office so we can tell you how you will receive the key.

• You can pay cash for your room, but we require a debit or credit card that can be authorized for a minimum of one night’s room and taxes in addition to the cash payment.

• If you do not arrive by 8:00 p.m., the credit or debit card on file will be authorized for one night’s room and taxes and if the card is declined for any reason, your entire reservation will be cancelled immediately.
• Dogs are allowed but only in specific rooms to cut down on the cost of cleaning and allergies for other guests. Guests must ask for a dog friendly room when placing reservation. Pets in undesignated rooms may be charged a $25 cleaning fee and/or could be asked to leave.
Cancellation policy –
We must be notified 48 hours in advance by 6:00 p.m. If you cancel after this time, all rooms will be released and the credit card supplied may be charged for all rooms reserved for one night’s room and taxes. We cannot take cancellations by email. Please call the front desk. If you have placed this reservation through the internet, you will need to contact your travel agent to cancel.
