Rainbow Resort is a Year Round Family Vacation Resort located 23 miles from Itasca State Park, northwest of Park Rapids MN, northeast of Detroit Lakes MN and on the northern border of Tamarac Wildlife Refuge. We have 13 lakeside cabins and vacation homes, 3 are wheelchair accessible. Rainbow Resort is a spacious child friendly resort with 500 acres and 1 mile of shoreline. The only resort on the lake with acess to three lakes & 1600 acres for fishing or boating.
Rainbow Resort has a great venue for your group retreats and business conferences. We offer customized meal packages for your group. You can reserve the resort exclusively for your group and have your own private retreat center. We will provide activities for your group such as skiing, fishing, golfing, hiking/biking, birding ect.
We offer 23K private on-site cross-country ski trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing. The scenic trails with varied terrain are for all levels of skiers from beginner, intermediate to advanced. The challenging hills make it a great venue for training camps. Rainbow Resort is locatd on a network of hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails in a heavily forested area.
There are thousands of acres of public land for hunting grouse, ducks, geese & deer & bear in the nearby area.
