Half Moon Trail

Beautiful resort. Wonderfully friendly staff who clearly love working with Ryan and Liz. The staff really put in the effort to make sure the grounds and garden are as beautiful as can be. The lake is refreshing and scenic, there are two or three Bald Eagles that live around the lake that my family and I had the opportunity to see regularly throughout the week. There are kayaks, paddle boards, and a canoe available for use in exploring the lake. I had a wonderful time both years I've been able to make the trip

If you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful getaway, look no further than Half Moon Trail Resort. The grounds are well maintained and the flowerbeds so colorful and diverse. The cabins are extremely clean and feel like home. Liz and Ryan are extremely accommodating and provide top notch customer service. It is a great place for children as there is a heated pool, crystal clear lake, beach, arcade games, daily activities, and a wonderful playground. What I like most about the resort is that you see families playing and having fun together and disconnected from technology. My family fell in love with Carpet Ball while staying here. We will be back.

The owners were very hospitable and took time to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. During the week, they hosted daily activities to entertain the kids. The playground area and outdoor games were great for the kids too! We stayed in cabin 5 for a week. This is the smallest cabin. We were aware of this when we made the reservation. I waited too long to book, so we got one of the last cabins available. This cabin is rated to sleep 4, but we brought our baby who just fit into a pack and play at the end of the bed. It was small. Next time we will get a bigger cabin. We LOVED the campfires, made friends with the other quests (who took pride in the number of years they have come to visit), and the activities. The landscaping is also BEAUTIFUL! This is not just a fishers paradise. We will definitely be back with more family invited.

Great place. The family and I stay here once a year for a week. There's a great amount of space for us, and the employees are very friendly.

Our family with 8 adults and 3 preschool-aged children thoroughly enjoyed our Labor Day Weekend 2016 at the Half Moon Trail Resort. What an awesome resort for a family reunion or peaceful get-away! Exceptional customer service, amenities and activities for all ages! Highly recommended! Spectacular landscaping, breathtaking views of Boot Lake from Cabin 3 and pristine rustic lodging accommodations all make this a repeat place to visit!
