Radisson Hotel Minneapolis/St. Paul North

Located on the northern side of the twin cities it is ideally located near interstate rampways as well as a few exceptional dining venues; including a couple within the Radisson itself. The service staff was seemingly impeccable not having seen them once. Many comfortable sitting areas offer secluded discussion ante rooms while the main lobby competed for a more rousing time with TV entertainment, Starbucks, and concierge service at your beck and call. Clean and modern touches detailed the entire atmosphere here and even in the plans Pool room area you'll notice fine restroom wallpaper.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice indoor pool and hot tub open when it was -8 outside. The restaurant was good, but I found the service is much faster if you sit at the bar instead of in the dining area. Sunday brunch was impressive. All you can eat crab on Tuesday night was cool, but they were too salty the night I was there.

This relates to the conference room and food only. We were there for a corporate lunch and the space was put together nicely. There was a coat rack and lots of space, for both getting food and shutting at the table. The staff were attentive and helpful all through the meal. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner and plates cleared promptly. The food was delicious. Meats we tender and juicy, not overcooked. Other options were varied and prepared nicely. Music was playing at a comfortable volume and staff were eager to help make adjustments as needed.

I am only rating the restaurant (Axel's) that is connected to the hotel. The food and service is exceptional. On Tuesdays they have all you can eat crab legs for $38 and they are wonderful. I cannot rate the hotel because I have never stayed there.

This Radisson is beginning to show a bit of wear and tear. Accommodations were clean however not as nice as most Radisson brand hotels. The heater in my room was noisy. The highlight of my stay was the friendly staff and the breakfast buffet in the restaurant that saved me from a terrible continental breakfast at my conference.
