R & R Movers

This is the 2nd time that I have used R & R Movers and they are the only moving company that I trust. Previously I had a wide range of problems dealing with other movers (2 hours late and no explanation or apology, stolen box of items, arrived drunk at 9am...I can go on). R & R was originally recommended to me by my realtor. They were punctual and prepared, had a sound plan to load and unload, and made their plans very clear to me throughout the process. They provided good advice and always made me aware of any potential risks. I just hope that they will be there again the next time that I move. Thanks again to Dennis, Dwayne, and Doug.

I'm so sorry that your experience with this company was so negative, as mine was the complete opposite. I just used them again for the 2nd time to move me into my new house. My first time was during the teachers' strike, and as a teacher I couldn't have possibly been more stressed out. I hadn't been paid in months, wasn't sure whether I could afford the move at all, but had to move out of my old place due to a mold issue. Both times they showed up early, were fast, efficient, and incredibly careful with all of my things. As I have some old and invaluable antiques, this meant more to me than anything. They also talked me through the entire process, both times, telling me how long it would take, how much it would cost etc. And most impressively, today when we got to my newest place we realized that the box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs - they gave me advice on how to handle it, and in a way that would save me a lot of money. This is why I use this company for every move - they are trustworthy, reliable, honest and kind - I couldn't have asked for more!

We met R&R at Mapleleaf Storage PoCo as they were moving someone else's belongings into a storage locker. The lead hand directed two workers to sort items for efficient space so owners didn't need to pay for wasted space. He said if you need movers, give us a chance to quote. So when our time came to move into our condo, we called. SO GLAD I DID. Extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Would recommend this company any day. As we don't move often, next time if there is one, I will box everything. It was easier (lazier) for us to move/wrap assorted items into the locker ourselves, not thinking about the next step. Never again!!!! They convinced us to use 3 men ... would be more expensive per hour but a faster move ... would've been if the lead guy didn't stay in the truck the entire move out ... supposedly directing where and how to pack the truck ... REALLY???? Then stayed in the new house directing where to put things and talk to me. Was told tgat certain loose items coukd not be moved ... said fine ... could do those another day ... hadnt had enough time to fet all unusual things packed... so then they 'took advantage' of that ststement and left behind mire than was needed ... side tables ... carpets .. and also said tgey woukdnt take patio furniture or planters if they were wet ... duh we live in Vancouver!!! Also paid 2 guys around 500.00 to pack the kitchen and Living room ... they didn't finish and now unpacking boxes all mixed up... missing items related ... a stack of very expensive China wrapped in one piece of paper ... boxes not marked or not marked properly ... Then charged a 'Sur Charge' an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE MOVE!!! WARNING ... DO NOT ... DO NOT USE!!
