Story

Quality Inn Près du Lac has 80 rooms inside the main building and 17 cottages rooms. Our hotel guests have a complimentary hot or cold breakfast. We also have conference rooms to accommodate meetings and banquets up to 125 people. Our dining room is open from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm from Monday to Saturday and 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday. We have a Table h'Hote special every nite.

I go there yearly so I can see the changes they make over a long period of time. This year, they made some big changes that took away a certain aspect of the hotel that I loved. They renovated the restaurant they had into a cafe, and redesigned the lounge area which i thought was quite cozy until now. Other than that big change, everything was the same. They have a pool and a mini gym which was a enjoyable.

We stayed for 1 night on our way back to ontario. Very nice pool. Nice clean rooms. Good breakfast. Hot egg and sausage and bagels and cereal.

Used to be my go-to place for overnight - weekly stays when working in the area. Recently renovated which is nice but they have removed the great restaurant and Continental breakfast and replaced it with a for pay cafe. They do give you a nice 5$ coupon for the cafe. But I need my Continental breakfast - eggs, breakfast meat, fruit, etc. Not a reheated English muffin. I am moving my business to the other chain hotel in the area. This was a giant misstep.

Room was ok but a little expensive for what you get. The breakfast was poor - cold and rubbery egg pucks, toasters that barely work and to show the overall poor quality they serve "honey and glucose spread". I suppose real honey is too expensive when you are paying $170 a night for a room.

Clean, roomy, & well priced. Of 4 nights stay on various hotels, this was the most enjoyable. Continental breakfast rates only 5 out of ten. Staff very hospitable and helpful.
