Quality Inn of Umatilla (formally Desert River Inn) is under new management and currently undergoing renovations.

Story

Quality Inn features 66 rooms that include refrigerator and microwave. 32" flat screen T.V., iron and ironing board, hair dryer, coffee maker. There are also rooms that include kitchenette units for those longer stays and have a beautiful view of the 18-hole Golf Course that is right next door. We also have have rooms that have a private outside patio area as well as rooms with private balconies. We offer free Wi-Fi in all our rooms. There is a seasonal outdoor pool. Morning Breakfast is complimentary.

We also have banquet and conference rooms available for weddings, receptions, meetings. etc..

We had a very nice overnight stay here in mid August. We enjoyed a refreshing swim in their sparkling clean pool, and found their hot breakfast selections quite above average, with more than adequate seating available. Our room was quite possibly the largest we've had anywhere and all decor was fresh and appealing. OK, this isn't a Hilton, but it was possibly one of the best motels we have ever stayed at.

The room service is awesome I loved everything about my stay. Free WiFi ,cable , white towels free breakfast and so much more. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I wish I could stay there all the time.

The room was large, the staff was friendly, and it was everything you would expect from a hotel at this price point. I stayed in a single queen room, and it was huge. The furnishings were dated for sure, but the bed was comfortable, parking was adequate, and the hotel was quiet even though it was a very busy weekend. I would give more than three stars if there were a few changes. First off, the hallways are so hot that all of the candy in the vending machines is completely melted, even at 1am. Second, the TV was so small (my computer monitor is larger) it was basically unwatchable due to the room size. Lastly, there are some basic maintenance/cleaning issues. There is mold in the grout of the shower, there is peeling paint due to water damage on the ceiling line, and the carpet/curtains are old and dirty. Overall, I feel the hotel was a good value, and I would stay again.

It's clean , has a nice pool, good rates, and the restaurant brings your food to your room. Room service with great food
