Its a very clean hotel. Its older looking. Definitely needs major updating done. The pool is very large and so is the hot tub. The staff is friendly but it feels like they are all judging everyone by the way they look at you. Even the cleaning staff, you almost feel like you are bothering them. Now the restaurant right next to them not sure if it is part of the hotel but the food is amazing. A little pricey but absolutely worth every penny. Its more breakfast foods but it is probably the best breakfast I have ever had and you get a coupon with your reservation with the hotel for every morning you are there. It awesome.
After a 19 hour drive through bad weather I had an absolute nightmare of an experience at the hotel I originally booked for our short stay in Red Deer. We found ourselves looking for a new clean, safe room to stay in. The front desk man Sukh, was a true gentleman. I was tired and frazzled and he helped me secure a new room for a great price. He then went above the call of duty and was willing to show me a couple rooms before I paid for it. He was an angel for me. Thank you Sukh for your kindness and patience, we truly appreciated your efforts.
We spent three nights at the Quality Inn this week. The thing that stood out to us the most, was the service. Everyone we encountered at the front desk, and in the Local Crofflehouse restaurant was friendly and very service oriented.nnThe beds and pillows were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and most importantly, it was clean.nnThe north end location worked well for us because this was the base from which we traveled each day to different golf courses. The pool wasn't available for use, but that wasn't a big deal for us.nnWe're including photos of a few breakfast items we ordered.nnWe didn't figure out how to display the TV guide and select channels. It was a system we'd never seen before. We had to go back to channel 16 for the guide, or basically scroll from channel to channel. If there was a better way, it wasn't intuitive, and we didn't notice any instructions.nnWe'll definitely stay again, both with family and friends. Based on our experience, we recommend the hotel and restaurant to others wishing to support our Canadian economy.
We are a bus tour group that had a wonderful stay at this hotel previously. That is why we chose to stay here again. The hotel is clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. All my bus tour guests enjoyed their stay. We will definitely come back again.
I am writing this with extreme disappointment in this hotel. Yesterday I was looking to book a night stay for the weekend. When I went to book it, the wrong day was selected and the reservation went through. This was a mistake and I reached out instantly to the front desk and Expedia. Expedia was wonderful to try and help but Quality Inn refused to refund me or even move the reservation to the correct day. I know they have policies in place but a little bit of grace and understanding is highly appreciated. I feel like just another number here and won’t be supporting them in the future.
