We stayed overnight here a few weeks ago. I was very impressed with our updated room on ground level. It was clean and the bathroom was nice. It’s a cozy, updated, and dare I say fancy little motel that overlooks the beach. I was also super impressed with the soft plush robes & slippers, and the nespresso machine in the room which I’ve never seen in any hotel, not even in more expensive and fancier ones I’ve stayed in. Sometimes those little details just make your stay extra special oh and the staff were super friendly and helpful as well!
Lovely rooms with incredible views. This is our favorite stay cation place to come. The food in the restaurant is f----ing amazing! I had made a reservation online but it was the wrong day. Ugh The manager on duty found a place for us at the bar and made us feel so special. My husband mentioned it was my birthday and they brought us a glass of champagne ! That was so lovely. We ordered an appetizer but didn't really like it so it was no problem to send it back no charge and we ordered the calamari which was amazing. The bartender gave us great service even though it was super busy. Our main course was so good!! The drinks were also wonderful. I highly recommend.
We went for our 61st Anniversary and had a reservation. Seated us at the worst table in the house against a beam, no light and annoying loud bar music. We did get reseated, but still very loud music, so loud we had to shout across the table. Asked to talk to the Manager and he came by and made some poor excuse the music volume wasn't adjustable. Stayed for the meal, ok not great.
It would be a full 5 star rating, but the pillows.......... My goodness, not my favourite. Albeit I didn't check with the front desk if there were different options available, and a buddy who crashed echoed the sentiment. Everything else however is absolutely phenomenal! Walkability: Right on the ocean! Very nice. Food & drinks: The lounge is great and the food and drink is delicious! There's a gas station right across the street too if you're hankering for some chips or something of the ilk.
The inn was just lovely. Staff was great. Clean, comfy and beautiful views. Restaurant was to die for. Staff addressed me by name for 2 days and made me feel at home. Couldn't be happier.
On the day of my trip to the island, after getting off the ferry, I went straight here to have brunch, I ordered a 8 oz steak for that, everything was good except for the potato on the side which I didn't like at all, clean, great atmosphere, amazing beachRooms: 5/5
We spent our anniversary night here. Just a hop and skip away from the beach, this is a quiet hotel with nice rooms. The restaurant opens a bit late 10:00, check-out at 11:00, but the food is great! They have an EV charger; very welcome but I think they should add a few more.
We were welcomed by the male host, and were seated promptly at a table in the restaurant. When our waitress arrived, she stood at the end of the table, and put both her hands in her pockets, and asked about what we would like to drink. As the host gave us the menus, and we were looking at our options on the menu, we were busy making our decisions. The waitress left to give us time to choose our drinks, but in a few minutes she had returned, stood with a pose at the end of our table, an again put her hands in her pockets, just standing there. It was a very peculiar sight. Any time this tall waitress showed up at our table, she would take that unprofessional pose, put her hands in her pockets, and stand there. We were not sure if we had missed something about the caliber of this restaurant, and this is how management hires 'servers' to present themselves , but for the two gentlemen, and for us ladies with two babies, this was very unusual.
Went for lunch with my best friends. Great service and great size portions. Lots of outdoor seating. Perfect on a sunny day with ocean views. Good value, super clean and could handle large group bookings. Walkability: Can walk across the road and be on the beach.
We had a mixed experience here, partly because of expectations. The food was very good. But my main course crab cakes was an overpriced starter. I was so hungry I had to eat the spaghetti my daughter left behind. Kids chicken bites were over cooked and over battered. The wait staff were more qualified as models than waiting staff. A few other minor gripes. Good place to have an expensive three course dinner. Not a good place for a bite to eat.
