Penticton's pure yoga studio. We offer various styles of yoga and meditation.

Story

We are a passionate group of highly trained yoga instructors who are grateful to serve the community of the South Okanagan with the freedom-enhancing practice of yoga.
We are dedicated to treating each student as an individual and we specialize in modifying each pose to meet your unique needs.

We offer specialized classes:
-with gentle stretches and stress reduction techniques
-targeting over trained muscles in athletes
-that build strength and stamina
-in chronic pain management
-with deep stretching and contemplation/philosophy
-for prenatal, Mom and Baby

Without exaggeration, this place completely changed and transformed my life and way of living. When I started going, I hoped my chronic shoulder and neck issues would get better... they did! However, this is just a tiny part of the positive impact that Purple Lotus has had on my life. Forever grateful and still utterly awed.

We enrolled into the Beginner's Yoga. Camala is a wonderful instructor who knows and understands yoga, as well as what the layperson needs. She has a lovely sense of humour; is laid back but insures that practitioners have correct alignment. Her kind encouragement and acknowledgement that yoga is something that should never be "uncomfortable" is refreshing.

I just completed the 200hr YTT program with Kamala at Purple Lotus Yoga and I am beyond grateful for all the effort, dedication, and integrity that was displayed and implemented in order to offer a truly exceptional program. Kamala was phenomenal. There are really no words to express how gifted she is as a teacher, a facilitator, and as a mentor. I know that I was brought to Penticton 2 years ago for me to finally fulfill a long standing dream under the guidance, support, love and wisdom of Kamala. The program was incredibly balanced, offering a variety of teaching styles to accommodate different styles of learning, a wonderful balance between theory and practice, and approached the material in a way that honors the 8 limbs of Yoga. It was not just about how to become a teacher but also about our own personal transformation. I am so blessed and I hope and pray I can pay forward what has been given so graciously and generously to me. I highly highly recommend the SOYA YTT with Kamala and Purple Lotus Yoga.

Ten plus years of excellent Yoga for Yogis and those who wish to be Teachers. Third and Best location. Bigger brighter and fresh. Wide variety of classes.

One of the more peaceful places I've ever practiced Yoga. Great energy here and LOVE the sky ceiling:)
