Provigo

I really like this store, they carry a lot of decent brands, mainly president's choice, but some organic and conventional. I like the cleanliness of the store, it's spacious, and they have a good kitchen section for kitchen accessories and items. It's bright, open late, and generally it's not overcrowded like other grocer chains. The store does have some good deals for sales.

Excellent supermarket that offers a variety of fresh produce. There is a bakery onsite which offers daily fresh baked bread and pastries that are simply delicious! The bakery also has cakes ready to go as well as special order cakes. There is a lunch/dinner counter where you can get meals such as rotisserie chicken, chicken wings, chicken strips, fish and chips, salads, pizza, Asian food and many other offerings. There is an olive bar, soup bar, gelato bar and freshly prepared microwave meals to take home. Store offers a wide range of organic products, butcher services, online grocery shopping. Aisles are wide and spacious, store is clean and always has ample checkout lanes open; self-checkout machines are efficient and easy to use. The best supermarket in the area by far.

Great price quality ratio. But the staff are useless the regular cashier are slow and always chatting up the packer so I prefer using the self serve checkout, but on the rare occasion I need a staff (because the machine asks for it) they are no where to be found. And godforbid you are looking for a specialty item don't ask the floor staff or you will enter a wild goose chase.

Provigo has a great fruit and veggie section. And I'm very impressed with the vegan options in the cheese and frozen sections!
